在高中畢業以後，我想去日本留學深造。
自小就在城市中生活的我十分嚮往去經濟發達的大城市去學習。同時對於自己家鄉落後有著深刻的責任感。日本是當今世界上世界上經濟最發達的國家之一，電子產品在世界市場的占有率居於榜首。具有強大的海洋捕撈船隊和水產品養殖業，漁業發達。留學條件良好，氣候四季分明。環境優美，有美麗的'櫻花，北海道的櫻花。
去這些美麗的地方是我小時侯夢想。有優秀的教師和先進的教學設備以及先進的教育理念。於是從上高中開始我就定下了將來去日本留學的想法。
20x年2月底我向家裡說明了我想去日本留學的意願。在當時就得到了家人的許可。於是從20x年的3月份開始我到x日語培訓學校學習日語，平常的上課時間我正常到學校學習高中的課程到了，周末就上x日語培訓班去學習日語，到現在為止我的日語水平已達到使用最基本的日常用語和進行簡單的閱讀的程度。日本以後，打算先到語言學校學習。為自己將來進一步的深造做好語言上的準備。
在此基礎上，根據本人的個人喜好和特長，想在日本的大學學習物流管理。日本是個經濟文化繁榮發達的國家，尤其改革開放以來，中日兩國經濟文化藝術的交流更加深入。當我學有所成回國後，將致力於家鄉的經濟發展，用在日本所學的先進的管理方去經營自己家鄉的企業。也願意在日友好中日文化經濟交流方面貢獻自己的聰明才智。

The purpose of historical inquiry is not simply to present facts but tosearch for an interpretation of the past. The reason I want to study History issimply that it combines the excitement of exploration and discovery with thesense of reward born from successfully confronting and making sense of complexand challenging problems.
History is fascinating because society is constantly evolving and as aresult, the history must evolve with it.
I seek enrolment in a program that not only maintains a superb reputationbut that will also demand only the highest quality effort from each of itsstudents. I hope that you are able to give me the privilege of continuing mystudies on the level demanded by your prestigious institution. I have appliedall my abilities and diligence to getting into Oxford.
My aim has always been to excel in examinations, no matter how demandingthey were. I made sure I achieved straight. As in all aspects of my studies.Frommy strong performance in my A level history exam to my past work experience, mybackground and qualifications have given me the skills to succeed in yourprogram.Although school occupies most of my time, I have learnt the rewards ofcontributing towards school life and have been head student for two years. Itake pleasure in debating issues that are important to me, and as part of mycontribution I set up a school debating society. This position has improved myleadership, organisational and communication skills and, given me the chance tocombine my theoretical knowledge and my interpersonal skills to successfullydebate issues closely related to history.
Outside of academics, I am a keen sportsman, competitively playing hockeyand football. Last year I participated in the AA regional school athleticsfinals, achieving first position. My other passion is swimming, I have been amember of Warwickshire swimming club for nine years. One of my biggestachievements has been taking the County Champion title and crowned the recordholder in the men’s 200m butterfly.
My swimming practices have also given me the chance to complete my lifeguard qualification, enabling me to gain work as a lifeguard. My swimmingability also helps with my interest in scuba diving. Last summer I volunteeredto assist with teaching scuba diving at a school in Italy. This experience wasextremely valuable, improving my communication skills and the appreciation ofdifferent cultures and backgrounds.
For years, I have maintained a firm devotion to history. All of myexperiences, coupled with a strong academic background, will allow me to embracestudying history at Oxford University.
