就專業知識而言，我酷愛學習英語。英語一直是我喜愛的學科，每當我學習英語的時候，我會感到興奮，感到餘味無窮。我常常把我學習英語的感受告訴我的學生，鼓勵他們熱愛英語，激發他們對英語的學習興趣。有時我還把我學習的內容，比如新聞、歷史人物等拿到課堂上和我的學生一同欣賞，有時乾脆用作教學的素材、練習的題目。通過不斷的學習，我的專業知識不斷提升，課堂教學也緊跟時代步伐。每每有外出學習的機會，我都爭取參加，我曾多次到鄭州、北京等地參加培訓。每次學習，我都成績優異，其中20xx年參加油田組織的由外教老師授課的暑期英語培訓班，我以平均96分的優異成績，奪得第一名。
僅僅具有高深的專業知識，不一定成為一名優秀的教師，還必須具有一定的教學技能。因此，在教育教學的同時，我一直堅持理論和業務學習。我反覆學習過《英語教學法》一書，我曾經閱讀過蘇霍姆林斯基的多部教育專著。我還學習了洋思中學的教學模式，以及杜郎口教學模式，吸取他們教學方法中的精華，提升自己的教學水平。另外我還自己訂閱了《中國小英語教學與研究》、《中國小外語教學》、《英語試題研究》、《學生英語報》等教學刊物。我堅持自學，並做了大量的讀書筆記。通過學習，我掌握了大量先進的教育教學理論，專業知識也得到了應有的提升，教學基本功不斷得到加強。20xx年，我參加“國家基礎教育試驗中心外語教育研究中心”組織的“首屆全國中學英語教師教學技能大賽”榮獲國家級三等獎。20xx年，參加比賽，再次獲得三等獎。
