在工作中我以不怕苦累的實際行動感召學生,以樸實端莊的人民教師形象教育學生,做到了為人師表,修德修才。我根據學生們的意見和建議,通過網路查找相關資料信息,也反饋給他們一些具體的建議,比如,針對專門的考試題型購買專門的參考練習書籍;在聽力和作文方面多下功夫;語法複習要系統;辭彙記憶可以和英語辭彙進行比較記憶,等等。我相信,只要切實地努力了,學習狀態和效果一定能夠很快步入全新的軌道。
其次,我要求學生,要敢於說。大多數同學總是認為自己說得不好,而不肯開口,不肯開口又會導致水平無法提高,水平無法提高就會質疑自己的能力,質疑自己的能力則又會導致更不敢開口,同學一旦陷入到這樣的怪圈就會無法自拔,從而徹底否定自己而導致聽說水平無法提高。所以,我儘量安排一個月至少4個學時進行口語練習,口頭表演有一個人的演說或兩人三人一組的對話,也要求在下面聽的同學對在講台上說的同學提問,這樣一問一答的模式不僅鍛鍊了學生的聽說能力,也活躍了課堂氣氛,收益頗多。
在教學過程中,耐心是至關重要的。它是一位教師良好行為的體現。教師的工作是解決學生不同程度上的問題,其中除了教學上的,還有心靈上的。育人的工作是辛苦的,對待形形色色的問題,不計其數的學生,都要用一顆熱情的心耐心地去做。
總之,英語學習,興趣為先。學生語言能力的高低在很大程度上受制於英語學習興趣的程度。很難想像失去了興趣還能怎樣培養交際能力。所以,作為英語教師,一方面要向學生傳授語言知識並使他們掌握技能,另一方面更要重視培養和保持學生對這門學科的興趣,獲得事半功倍的效果。這樣才能真正把新課程標準提出的要求落到實處。

本學期,我擔任三—六年級的英語教學工作,結合本校的實際條件和學生的實際情況,在工作中從各方面嚴格要求自己,勤勤懇懇,兢兢業業,使教學工作有計畫,有組織,有步驟地開展。立足現在,放眼未來,為使今後的工作取得更大的進步,現對本學期教學工作做出總結,希望能發揚優點,克服不足,繼往開來。
一、做到了認真備課。不但備學生而且備教材備教法,根據教材內容及學生小班教學的實際,針對不同年級教學目標的不同:讓三四年級學生在培養興趣的基礎上訓練學生認讀單詞的能力,還讓學生試著模仿教材書寫單詞;讓五六年級在保持興趣的基礎上學習新知識,加大聽寫單詞的力度。設計課的類型,擬定採用的教學方法,並對教學過程的程式及時間安排都作了詳細的記錄,認真寫好教案。對每一課都做到“有備而來”,課後及時對該課做出總結,寫好教學後記。
二、增強上課技能,提高教學質量,使講解清晰化,準確化,情感化,生動化,做到線索清晰,層次分明,深入淺出。在課堂上特別注意調動學生的積極性,加強師生交流,充分體現學生的主作用,基本做到了讓學生學得容易,學得輕鬆,學得愉快;注意精講精練,在課堂上我講得儘量少,讓學生有更多動口動手動腦的機會;同時在每一堂課上都充分考慮每一個層次的學生學習需求和學習能力,讓各個層次的學生都得到提高。現在學生普遍反映喜歡上英語課,尤其是五年級的學生。
三、認真批改作業:布置作業做到精讀精練。有針對性,有層次性。對學生的作業批改及時、認真,分析並記錄學生的作業情況,將他們在作業過程出現的問題做出分類總結,進行透徹的評講,並針對有關情況及時改進教學方法,做到有的放矢。對於四個年級的學生,培養小組長幫助我檢查其他學生朗讀、背誦課文。
四、堅持用英語組織課堂教學。目前,由於課堂仍是絕大部分學生學習英語、使用英語唯一的方式和場所,我堅持多用英語與學生交流,為學生營造良好的學習語言的環境。
