Education background
In 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology (NUST) -- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. During the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department. I was granted First Class Prize every semester,In 1999, I got the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admission test.
At the period of my graduate study, my overall GPA(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5% in the department. In the second semester, I became teacher assistant that is given to talented and matured students only. This year, I won the Acer Scholarship as the one and only candidate in my department, which is the ultimate accolade for distinguished students endowed by my university. Presently, I am preparing my graduation thesis and trying for the honor of Excellent Graduation Thesis.
Research experience and academic activity
When a sophomore, I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began to narrow down my interest for my future research. With the tool of OpenGL and Matlab, I designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. It is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. I assumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis & dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.
In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and experience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research interests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research (especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybrid system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.

Reasons for taking postgraduate exams:
First of all, I love my major. Chinese literature is the symbol of the start of Chinese literary modernization. It plays an important part in modernization of our citizens’ thoughts. What’s more, modern literature is very close to our daily life and it can deeply reflect the styles and features of our society. I am fascinated by the great masters’ refreshing or warm or profound styles as well. But I am not easily satisfied with such superficial knowledge. 參加研究生考試的原因：

本科四年期間，我系統地學習了專業的相關知識，從基礎理論的、到實用性較強的、等。由於對學的熱愛，還選修了、等課程。除了理論上的學習外，各種實驗和實習，也讓我受益匪淺。、等實驗培養了我的動手能力和分析問題的能力;、實習，不僅使我獲得了寶貴的知識，更加鍛鍊了我的意志;、的實地參觀與學習，讓我對一些工藝流程了解的同時，也對該行業目前的發展狀況有了更加深刻的認識。大學四年的本科學習不僅是知識的積累，也是一種學習方法的揣摩以及思路的探索。
為了將學習的理論套用於科研，在大學期時，我在教授(or副教授?)的指導下，參與了(國家級、省級、校級)的科創項目，完成了結題報告(or撰寫了論文或申請了專利)，在導師的教導下，在與師兄師姐的討論和交流中汲取了豐富的研究經驗。我即將在大四期間、教授的指導下，完成實驗並撰寫畢業論文或畢業設計。在畢業設計過程中，我的思維能力得到了鍛鍊，科研水平也得到了相應的提高;我深刻體會到科學研究的邏輯性與嚴謹性，領悟到提出問題科學調研分析數據得出結論的科學的思維方法和嚴謹的科研思路，並進一步體會到在科研道路上團結合作的重要性。
本科四年一直密切關注，課餘時間經常到圖書館查閱資料的經歷，使我對專業情有獨鍾，因此放棄了保研並毅然報考了大學學院專業。今年以總分分(政治分，英語分，專業課1分，專業課2分)的考研成績進入了複試。雖然我是跨專業，但是我堅信興趣是最好的老師，不管今後在學業或科研上遇到什麼困難，都要想盡辦法克服。我深知作為跨專業的我在專業知識方面存在很多缺陷，但是我有信心，在未來的日子更加積極主動去努力學習。我希望通過研究生期間專業系統地學習，能夠用自己所學的知識去解決實際問題，並希望在自己所選擇的研究方向做出好成績。
為了做一名合格的研究生，既對導師負責，也對自己負責，在讀研期間，我進行了如下規劃：
第一，根據學院課程設定，合理安排每學期課程。尤其注重學習專業領域內的相關基本理論知識。
第二，堅持在導師的指導下制定個人學習與研究計畫，積極嚮導師匯報自己的學業進展。
第三，注重自主學習能力與科研能力的培養。積極主動地關注學科前沿的理論問題，提高自己科學分析問題與解決問題的能力。
第四，積極參加各種實驗、學術研討會、實踐調研活動等，以促進理論與實踐的結合，不斷提高理論素養和實踐能力。
第五，認真學習英語，爭取聽說讀寫齊頭並進，為以後的論文撰寫奠定堅實的基礎。
總之，在研究生階段，我會儘自己最大的努力，發掘自己最大的潛力，踏踏實實地做好每一件事!如果在研究生期間，自己的科研能力獲得導師認可，我將繼續攻讀博士學位。這將會是一個我期待已久、並為之付出自己全部努力的學習過程，我已經讓自己做好了全面的準備。
