從現在開始，像楊利偉那樣腳踏實地的在大學中好好學習，認真專研科學技術理論，努力實踐，增長才幹，做好準備。當機遇輕輕地叩響門扉時，我們就會沉著地應和一聲，踩著它的節拍，踏上自己的舞台。千萬不要眼睜睜地看著它，在悠忽之間，從你身邊姍姍飄過，而你卻無能為力。
沒有耕耘就沒有收穫，有人把科學家重大發現、發明的原因歸結為偶然的機遇，這實在是一個謬誤。法國著名微生物學家巴斯德指出：“在觀察的領域裡，機遇只偏愛那種有準備的頭腦”。試想，如果費萊明不是一個細菌學專家，或者對葡萄菌沒有經歷數年的研究，或者粗心大意，把發了霉的培養液隨手倒掉了，那他還能成為青黴素的發現者嗎?試想，愛迪生如果不是通過無數次試驗，證明上千種材料不能作燈絲，並一直傾心於此項研究，又怎能發現適合做燈絲的鎢呢?
機不可失，時不再來。再如：姜子牙磐溪垂釣數十載才迎來文王的青睞，輔佐周武王攻下殷商的都城鎬京,滅了荒淫無道、沉溺酒色的紂王，建立了周氏王朝;諸葛亮高臥隆中數十載，方換來劉玄德“三顧茅廬”隆中對，進而輔佐劉備三分天下。試想，姜太公成就的取得難道僅僅是因為與文王的偶然相遇嗎?孔明三分天下的成功難道只是因為劉備偶然聽到傳聞而三顧茅廬嗎?非也，其實他們在機遇到來之前早已胸中韜略萬千，他們的頭腦早已做好把握機遇的準備。機會總是垂青有準備的人。
現實生活中有些人總是坐著等機遇，躺著喊機遇，睡著夢機遇，做“守株待兔”的人。殊不知如果這樣，機遇就會像滿天星斗，可望而不可及，即使機遇真的來到身邊。他也發現不了，更不用說去捕捉和利用了。
機遇只偏愛有準備的頭腦，能否抓住機遇、利用機遇，關鍵在於人們知識文化思想等多方面的準備，在於勤奮努力。朋友，你準備好了嗎?準備好你的頭腦，去抓住機遇、利用機遇，獲得成功吧!
今天我們踏進了大學的門檻，這裡就是給我們做好準備的地方。我想我一定要克服中學時的懶惰，克服自己的任性，克服不愛惜時間的毛病。有句古詩寫得好：

大學生活是多姿多彩的，但也需要我們把握和深入體會。開朗卻不失內涵，野性卻不失優雅，自信卻不自負，張揚卻不狂妄，是我追求的性格。簡單衝動、意志不堅定、思想不成熟，是我要克服的弱點。“人生豪邁，年輕沒有失敗”是我對青春的誓言。青春是我們最寶貴的財富，是我們膽大妄為的資本，是我們異想天開的來源。要想充分挖掘青春的寶藏，那就要好好學習，充實自己。在工作中學習，在教室里學習，在失敗中學習，在別人身上學習。

當然了，漫漫的大學生活也會有許多意想不到的困難和挫折。當我們面對困難和挫折的時候，想想我們的父母吧!要知道，我們是父母的希望和未來。我們的每一步腳印都浸透著父母親的血汗和眼淚。父母的愛是全天下最無私的、最真誠的、最偉大的愛。他們都希望自己的子女能有所成就而成為他們的驕傲和支柱。作為為人子的我們，有責任有義務讓父母們安心、放心，健康快樂，安度晚年，讓他們的付出得到最大程度的收穫。不要讓他們失望，不要讓他們覺得自己活得失敗。讓我們用對父母的責任感成為我們我們學習的動力吧!我相信，學校的老師們也會像我們的父母親一樣愛護和關心我們，愛我們的老師吧，聽老師的話，不要讓老師們失望，我們要讓老師們為有我們這些好學生而自豪!
同學們，在學習中，不可能一帆風順，很有可能會遇到各種各樣的問題和障礙。比若說，做事三分鐘熱情，半途而廢，想一口吃成胖子，急於求成，學的東西太多，精力太分散。所以我們要腳踏實地，一步一個腳印的學習，學習沒有捷徑，只有刻苦、努力才能學到東西。不要自以為是，它只會阻止你前進。當你認真，你自會發現好的學習方法，有了好方法，自會提高學習熱情，讓自己愛上學習，要相信認真的力量，沒有人可以打倒你，只有你自己。讓認真成為你的習慣，讓它使你更具有魅力。

I'm a graduate student from UNIVERSITY . My name is ,years old. , born in . GuangDong province . My major is English, and I will graduate this June.
In the past 3 years,I spent most of my time on English studying and practise. I have a good command of both spoken and written English and past CET-4 with a ease. Skilled in use of Office 20xx, excel. My graduate school training combined with my cadet teacher should qualify me for this particular job.
Although perhaps I'm not the best among the candidates, but with my strong knowledge background and full enthusiasm for education, I am sure I will satisfy you well.
As a college student, I concentrated on studying modern teaching technology. I have acquired enough essential and fundamental knowledge of English teaching in the past three years. Since September 20xx, with great interest, I have been doing student cadre for almost each semester and formed good team-work spirits. General Introduction
I am a third year master major in automation at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, P. R. China. With tremendous interest in Industrial Engineering, I am writing to apply for acceptance into your Ph.D. graduate program.
Education backgroundIn 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology (NUST) -- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. During the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department. I was granted First Class Prize every semester, and my overall GPA(89.5/100) ranked No.1 among 113 students. In 1999, I got the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admission test. I selected the Shanghai Jiao Tong University to continue my study for its best reputation on Combinatorial Optimization and Network Scheduling where my research interest lies.
At the period of my graduate study, my overall GPA(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5% in the department. In the second semester, I became teacher assistant that is given to talented and matured students only. This year, I won the Acer Scholarship as the one and only candidate in my department, which is the ultimate accolade for distinguished students endowed by my university. Presently, I am preparing my graduation thesis and trying for the honor of Excellent Graduation Thesis.
Research experience and academic activity.
When a sophomore, I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began to narrow down my interest for my future research. In 1997, I participated in simulation tool development for the scheduling system in Prof. Wang’s lab. With the tool of OpenGL and Matlab, I designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. It is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. In 1998, I assumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis & dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.
In 1999, I joined the distinguished Professor Yu-Geng Xi's research group aiming at Network flow problem solving and Heuristic algorithm research. Soon I was engaged in the FuDan Gene Database Design. My duty was to pick up the useful information among different kinds of gene matching format. Through the comparison and analysis for many heuristic algorithms, I introduced an improved evolutionary algorithm -- Multi-population Genetic Algorithm.
