小學生生活結束了，我現在已升入了國中，見到了許多陌生的同學。你們如果想認識我，那我就向你們介紹一下我自己吧。
我的名字叫陳玉鵬。你別看它聽起來普通，意義可大了。鵬是鵬程萬里，說明我的前途遠大。
瘦是男孩們畏懼的事情，可我的身體偏偏就是瘦，所以過去有很多同學都叫我“小不點”其實我個子又小又矮，所以媽媽說我瘦得像根“黃瓜”。媽媽讓我多吃飯，可我依然是每頓只吃一點點。我媽媽常說：“我還沒有姥姥家的小貓咪吃得多呢?”我真後悔不聽媽媽的話多吃飯，要不然能長這么矮嗎?真是“一失足成千古恨”啊!
不知為什麼，調皮的我愛上了讀書，不過那時讀得都是一些故事書，似懂非懂。後來經過老師的教育，我把課外書的興趣又轉移到課本上，也逐漸愛上作文。
雖然我酷愛文字，卻無文采，喜歡讀書，卻過目便忘。但我從未因此而放棄，因為我堅信功夫不負有心人。除此以外我還有許多愛好，比如喜歡交朋友。雖然缺點很多，卻不乏幽默感。不管在學校學習還是在家裡娛樂，我常用笑話來製造歡樂的氣氛。
10歲那年，我學會了練毛筆字，一年後丟棄，只因無恆心，為此自愧而“無臉見老爸。”爾後，我發奮苦讀，卻不時因貪玩而影響成績。
我最大的缺點就是做事不能堅持到底。就拿攢錢來說吧，過年的壓歲錢就有一百多塊，加上平常的零花錢就有四十多塊。好不容易攢到一百六十多塊，就跑到商店買了一台MP3，剩下的錢肯定一花而光。
