爭取到了外資公司的面試機會，一般它們都有英語要求，如果有招聘廣告的，可看看他們對英語的要求是什麼;如果是有人(可以使用本站搜尋)推薦，比如獵頭，問問對方公司對這個職位的英語，究竟需要什麼程度，這樣方便自己做準備。
一般來說，外企測試英語，有2種基本的類型：
一、筆試。
筆試大部分考察的是寫作，有英譯漢和漢譯英，還有作文。漢譯英對很多人困難一點，畢竟中文博大精深，要翻譯成簡單明了的英語，辭彙和語法都會遇到困難。
翻譯部分的題目，很多公司都會是自己的企業文化、理念、公司歷史等，至少我面試過4家500強都是如此。對這樣的題目，如果你事先沒有很好地瀏覽他們的中文和英文網站，一般是不好翻譯的。
建議：去外企面試，務必看看它的中英文網站，尤其英文頁面，那些公司介紹和新聞都需要關注一下。
印象中有一年去雅芳面試，有一道題目，是跟它們做過的女性乳腺癌的關愛項目有關。好在我前一晚看了它們的網站，不然真不知道題目說的是什麼，又是很專業的辭彙。
英語作文來說，不是很難，大家都可以編2句，如果你實在寫不滿字數或者表達不清，我還是建議你學習一下英文寫作再去面試，不然也浪費你自己的時間。
作文內容一般會問：你5年之內的職業目標是什麼?你是如何看待行業的?你希望在公司取得什麼樣的成就?
二、口語測試
口語測試都是老套路，不管是用人單位還是獵頭，問你的都是常規問題，比如自我介紹，比如個性，比如職業規劃，比如你的收穫和體會。很多人可能會對口語測試緊張，不知道說什麼，其實就象中文面試一樣，你只要事先做個準備就好了。
比如自我介紹，這個是基本都會問的，但是也不要隨便回答。自己事先寫好，背熟，面試時候自然一點流利地講出來，至少可以留下一半的好印象。
對於平時不用英語的人來說，如果有機會去外企面試，至少前一天要把自己的英文簡歷閱讀幾遍，找找感覺，象自我介紹這樣的準備材料，也要熟讀。不然真正面試的時候，一張嘴結結巴巴，單詞發音也不準，句子也不連貫，那就功虧一簣了。
這裡想說的是，除非你應聘翻譯，或者一些中高層職位需要和外國人做工作交流的，一般的英語口語測試都很容易通過，不用緊張。不過HR都不喜歡這樣的人：簡歷上寫的是英語聽說讀寫流利，結果面試的時候結結巴巴說不出來的。還有一些人一個勁強調，自己大學英語很不錯，就是工作了沒機會接觸，現在生疏了，只有給自己一段時間，英語一定沒問題。
與其說這些話的，早乾什麼了?早做準備，面試的時候才會一鼓作氣、一氣呵成，求職應聘好公司好職位的人多了，憑什麼就給你鍛鍊的機會呢?
所以，不要奢望狗屎運經常會降臨，要真想實現自己的目標，必要的付出還是要做的。英語口語，不是非要參加什麼培訓班或者背誦多少新概念才行，要應付外企的面試，有本不錯的《面試英語》，其實也足夠了。
另外有一個快速提高面試口語的辦法，就是請留意那些外企招聘廣告裡，關於該職位的英語描述和任職資格要求。
這些也就是所謂很多人頭疼和陌生的專業辭彙，你只要多收集幾家就會發現，大同小異，個別詞換種表達，內容都差不多。你的英文簡歷也可以參照這個要求去寫，把相關經驗和工作業績補充進去就很完美了，面試時候再按照這個說出來，把握更大。
基本上，外資公司在招聘廣告裡，用中文刊登的職位對英語要求都不高，反之則需要英語水平稍高。對於那些自己感興趣的公司和職位，多收集一些英文的招聘要求，對提高應聘英語水平幫助很大。
