由圖可知，球衣可用“（soccer）jersey”來表達，如果您特別想強調球衣是球隊的“隊服”，則可用“（soccer）team jersey”來表示。與football shirt相比，football shirt常見於口語，而jersey一般特指“印有球隊隊徽的球衣”。
另外，值得一提的是，在閱讀有關英格蘭足球的新聞時，您或許會看到（soccer）team strip，strip在這裡也指球隊的球衣，但在美國不常用。
