went to the country onweekends, becauseone of dads brothers owned a piece of land nontoo far from thecity where we lived.i enjoyed myself ridinghorses, playing withcats and dogs, picking up eggs from hens, looking at rabbits, watching birds, driving tractors and so on.since then, i havebeen dreaming to have some free land of my ownproperty, in order todo what i most like without annoying anyneighbours.first of all iwould fill it with trees, flowers andgrass, because i love to stayoutside and have walks under thetrees shadow.secondly, i would buysome german sheepdogs. actuallyim very fond of this race of dogsand i wish to grow up someexemplars and win premiums at dogcompetitions. dogs are the realpassion of my life. i love to staywith dogs and speak to them andteach them some basicthings.finally, in order to stay therealways, i would build a smallcountry house, made of stone and woodbut with all comforts and aswimming pool to bathe in when itsvery hot.probably its a dream, but dont say its impossible toaccomplish. in fact, i would onlyneed to work in some placeneither too near, not too far from thecountry. there i could findsome free land and do what ive justsaid. so i would realize thechilds atmosphere that i can only remrnow and that is sodistensive when just thinking of it.topic:149what should i do ifsome day i had some land of myself? i take itas a serious questionalthough if it is just a hypothesis. while, definitely, i willfacilitate it to built up a public school! thereason is thateducation is so important to both this society andindividuals. itis my dream to develop a school for the children whohave beenbereft the opportunity of acceptance education.firstly,widelywell-educated population can benefit the society they are infromenjoying an orderly circumstance. it is a common sensethatintellectuals are more conformable than the others. banditsorbrigands are usually composed of those uncivilized people.withtheir knowledge, people are much more positively to complywiththeir national laws. caution are also be taken bythoseknowledgeable people to stay away from criminal.secondly, oursociety needs to be constructed by their civilian withtheirtechnique or skills much more than just their nature strength.itis the advantaged technology that makes a nation standing inthefirs t line among the world.thirdly, individual in thisearthshould be equal with all centers including being educated.whattragedy it is that so many kids abandoned or are abandoningtheirstudy for their poverty. so many films about these poorchildrenalways made me in tears! i swear if only i have the power iwill domy best to help them other than just donate those littlefaintmoney!if i have some land, i will open a school,definitely!topic:149if i have received some land to use as i wish,i would use thisland to build a library. i like to use thefollowing reasons toexplain my choice.the first and most importantreason is thatlibrary can bring plenty of knowledge to people. iremr the famouswords that knowledge is power. apparently, a libraryis the idealplace for people to attain knowledge. in a library, wecan get allkinds of valuable information that we need, such asknowledge ofgeography, history, music and politic, and so on. wecan imaginethat it is so comfortable and enjoyable when we sit in aquietlibrary and immerse in the world of knowledge thatwecherish.another equally important reason is that people canspendtheir spare time in a more meaningful way in a library. nowthelife pace is faster and faster, so people, especially youngpeople, like to go to see a movie, or a disco party. in comparisonwiththose places, i think that library can provide a quietandcomfortable atmosphere for people who want to reduce thepressureof life.moving on to wider themes, a library is a good andsafeplace for children. parents would rather let their children gotothe library frequently than see their child spend lots of timeinplaying the game or watching television. after all, a good bookcanprovide children with enormous help in their future life.fromwhathas been discussed above, i may safely draw the conclusionthatusing this land to build the library for people will be myfirstchoice.topic: 149the world is becoming increasingly smallerandsmaller. the world’s population is now at six billion. theworldcities are getting larger and larger. at least two cities, mexicocity and sao paulo have almost 30 million inhabitants. inthiscontext, one could say that a gift of land is the greatest giftofall. land is perhaps the most permanent thing in theworld.unlikediamonds, which really have little value in and ofthemselves, landactually has great value. unlike televisions andcars, land cannotbe destroyed—if you remove land, there is stillmore land under it.in this context, i will discuss what i would dowere i given someland as a gift. it will be necessary, however, todiscuss fourthings first: first, it is necessary to establish thesize of theland. second, we need to know where the land is. third, thetopography of the land is important. finally, the weather inthelocation is fundamental.for the purposes of this essay, iwillassume that i have received a rather large parcel of land (itis agift, center?!) in a temperate climate with four seasons. iwillassume that the land is fairly flat. most importantly, iwillassume that this land is mine and that i have control overtheland, i.e., that no other government controls the land.havinggrownup in a rather poor family, i think i would be quite excitedaboutreceiving some land. i have never owned anything of any greatvalueand to own some land would be a wonderful thing for me. for alongtime, it has been a dream of mine to be able to build abeautifulhouse for my mother. my mother is still living in povertyand itsaddens me to think of her living in that situation. sheoften doesnot have enough money to use the heat in the wintertimeand cannotafford to buy new clothes. i would love to be able togive her thegift of a house and a happyplace to live for the restof her life.since we lived in a country with very cold winters, myfamily oftenfelt very cold. i would love to bring my mother to awarm place tospend the rest of her days.however, i would not devoteall of theland to houses for my family. i would use most of theland todevelop a business. in my case, doing this would be veryimportantsince i grew up poor. i would need to ensure that i wouldhave asource of income and a way to sustain the activities on theland.an efficient way to do this would be to develop the land insomeway suitable to the land. in this case, i would use the landtodevelop a language and confidence training camp.it has long beenmydream to build a perfect language learning center - a placewherepeople could go to learn a language, to immerse themselves inthelanguage, to meet other people and to have fun while doing so.inconclusion, i would like to make one more point. i must admitthati feel somewhat guilty about the idea of accepting such a giftofland. there is a part of me that is somewhat idealistic andwouldlike to think that the world is a beautiful place and thatallhumans should live together peacefully. from this viewpoint, iwould say that no one can own land. as an american indianoncesaid, own the land? you might as well own the air or thesky!however, this idea is inconsistent with the world today. beingmorerealistic, i would do what i detailed above.topic: 149land isavaluable resource, and it is important to use it effectively.ithink it would be most effective to create something thatallpeople can enjoy. i therefore propose to use the land to buildacampground. at the present time, there is littlelow-costrecreation in the area where i live. building a campgroundwouldchange that. ultimately a campground would make a moreenjoyableenvironment for everyone.local entertainment is simplytooexpensive. a nice evening out can cost as much as onehundreddollars. even movies and other less expensive typesofentertainment are no longer cheap. further, there are norealrecreational facilities nearby. there are no parks within 30miles.there are very few basketball courts, and most of those arein poorcondition.building a campground could change all that.stayingovernight at a campground is very inexpensive. it can costaslittle as thirty dollars. further, there would be a sports areaandpicnic tables for use by campers and also those who do not wishtostay overnight. a campground would provide a lot of activitiesforvery little money. that would definitely improve thisarea.theresult of building a campground will be that many morepeople willbe able to afford an enjoyable evening out. a campgroundalsopromotes healthy living. people can get out and breathe freshair.they can walk and hike and play basketball or other sports.that iscertainly better than spending an evening sitting down, eatingbuttery popcorn in a movie theatre.a campground will make theareabeautiful as well as nal. we have many wonderful naturalresources, but we need to cultivate them. in addition to all theother goodthings it can bring, building a campground will help usdo justthat.
