第一句顯得語氣太弱，寫信的人有點羞怯的樣子。第二句有特殊風格，第三句太過自信，第四句，作者表示謙虛。
公司的老闆大多認為，注重小節的人對重大的事務也會謹慎行事。一個人做人做事是否謹慎可以從一封求職信中看出來。別看輕了短短一封信，一封求職信可以顯露出一個人的嗜好、鑑別力、教育程度以及人格特性。下列幾個要點便是泄露一個人秘密的地方。因此，寫信的人一定要留意。
a.紙張的選用：最好使用品質優良，白色的信紙。信封要配合信紙的顏色。
b.書寫：求職者一般是把求職信列印出來，並加親筆簽名。簽名時字型要寫得莊重得體，龍飛鳳舞的字跡無疑是自尋絕路。
c.格式：正文要適當地排列在信紙中，格式要全文一致，不要中途改變。
d.語法、標點和拼寫：正確無誤的語法、標點和拼寫使讀信人感到舒暢，錯誤的語法或拼寫則十分明顯，一望即知，給人留下不好的印象。尤其要注意的是，絕不可把收信人的姓名或公司名稱拼錯了。
e.信封：信封上面的地址要完整，稱謂要合時宜，信紙的摺疊要適當，大小適合信封。
f.附屬檔案：求職信通常不須附加推薦信，除非招聘時有要求。遇到這種情形，只須附上複印件即可。另外，求職信內附加郵票或貼好郵票寫好地址的回郵信封，強迫對方答覆的作法不宜使用，除非對方有此要求。

寫求職信需要留意幾個方面：
a.陳述事實，避免表示意見：與工作經驗有關的事實可以陳述出來，但不應強調將給未來工作帶來怎樣的好處。
b.不要批評他人：如果你要離開現職，可以說出原因但不要用批評的方式，僱主想要了解你，而非你的工作體會。
c.不要過分渲染自我：你當然認為有能力，夠資格才要申請某一職位，但不要過分誇大自己的能力或表現過分的信心，尤其不要說出與事實不符的能力來。
