I also have a big and nice garden. It is beside the big house. There are many flowers and vegetables in it. It has a big tree. In summer, I can sit under the tree with my family. 尊敬的家長朋友：
大家好， 很榮幸這學期由我來擔任一年級(1)/(2)/(3)班的英語老師。首先感謝大家在百忙之中來參加孩子國小階段的第一個家長會。一年級小學生的入學，是孩子人生旅途中的一次重大轉折，學習生活也要發生很大的變化。為了讓孩子們儘快適應校園的新生活。我們今天聚在這裡，同各位家長共同探討我們孩子的英語教學。希望在我們的共同努力下，我們的孩子能夠喜歡英語，並學好英語這門學科。
再次之前我想跟大家分享之前一個家長的英語心得，他是這樣說的：
十個孩子，九個對英語感興趣，八個能回家練習，但七個爺爺奶奶外公外婆覺得孩子太小，壓力太大，六個爸爸心疼寶貝太累沒時間玩耍，五個家長感覺是額外開支，四個沒時間接送嫌遠停車不方便到處堵車，三個覺得以後要應付考試再亡羊補牢也不遲，只有一個最後堅持了下來，於是大家開始羨慕這個孩子，說他有天賦，愛學習，自覺又聰明，說他英文真好，卻不知道這個孩子以及他的家長在背後付出了怎樣的堅持與努力!
時間會證明你的孩子正在與他身邊的同齡人慢慢拉開差距，一滴墨水改變不了一盆清水的顏色，但已經改變了它的本質，因為你的選擇與堅持將注定你的孩子與眾不同。
一、教材介紹
我們從一年級就開始開設英語課程，目的就是希望我們的孩子可以從小開始接觸和掌握一門新的語言，為將來更好的學習和生活打下基礎。。
現在我手裡所拿得就是孩子本學期要學習的英語課本。首先，我來介紹一下這本書的特點，上學期教材共分為10個學習模組Moudle，一個複習模組，四個單詞表，一個補充閱讀版塊以及一個綜合運用實踐項目。每個學習模組包括兩個單元，第一單元是語言呈現單元，第二單元是語言擴展和語言練習單元，各個單元從單詞、對話、遊戲、歌曲、歌謠等等都能夠吸引孩子的興趣，這樣安排遵循著少年兒童的認知規律，由淺入深，由易而難，為孩子們循序漸進地學習奠定基礎。也就是說從現在開始，我們必須要轉變觀念了：要把英語作為一門重要的科目來好好地學習。
英語也會和語文、數學一樣每學期進行正規的考試和測試，實行滿分制。
三、 孩子的特點以及本期的教學舉措
一年級的孩子們年齡比較小大都在6歲，7歲，共性特徵是特別喜歡玩，非常好動;注意力還不能穩定持久，這個階段的孩子注意力一般能穩定持續15分鐘——20分鐘左右;思維非常具體，容易受外界影響。但他們可愛，聰明，熱情，正處於掌握新語言的最佳階段。作為英語教師，我將盡職盡責，竭盡全力，通過豐富多彩，形式多樣，充滿趣味的教學活動，多媒體課件等培養孩子們的學習興趣，以最大限度的耐心來幫助我們的孩子養成良好的學習習慣。本期在教學上我打算從以下幾個方面入手：
1、 大英語課堂的學習
(1) 每日一句、每日歌謠的學習，除此之外，我還會添加一些比較經典的英語歌曲的學習。
(2) 抓好教學主陣地
課堂是英語學習的主陣地，也是孩子真正學習知識的場所。抓住課堂的40分鐘，孩子才可能紮實的掌握英語知識。因此，本期英語課堂我遵循以下原則:
1)培養孩子的自信心。學習英語的最終目的就是實用英語，也就是說英語，對於起步學習的孩子來說，培養孩子大膽的說英語則是我們首當其衝的任務。每學習一個單詞、句子或對話都是先讓孩子多聽、多說、多練。說的對錯都不是最重要的，開口才是學習英語的良好開端。我不想培養一個只會考試的機器，而是希望孩子真正掌握一門語言------那就是大膽、自信說英語。
2)讓所有孩子都動起來。每個孩子的性格、基礎、品行都不同，有的孩子參與的熱情特別高，回答問題非常積極，有的把手舉得很高，有的站起來搶著回答，還有的為了回答問題急得嗷嗷叫，還有少部分的孩子不敢舉手。但在每節課上我會給所有孩子回答問題和展示自我的機會，做到一個都不能少，讓每個孩子的膽量、口語都能得到鍛鍊。
2、 良好的英語學習習慣的培養
(1) 養成良好的聽讀習慣， 利用配套磁帶堅持做到每晚聽英語的習慣，鞏固並預習新知。
(2) 養成認讀的習慣。要求孩子用手指著所學單詞、句子會讀。
(3) 養成背誦的習慣。對課本所學的內容進行流利的背誦。達到一個量的積累。
四、 家長配合
咱們家長都很年輕，素質也比較高，而且教育理念新，那么我想咱們對待孩子的英語學習也一定是很關心的。下面我給大家提幾點對提高孩子英語水平有幫助的建議。
1. 我們一年級英語書面作業較少，每天的家庭作業就是聽磁帶、讀書、背書，這個作業做了沒有，做得怎么樣我們也沒有辦法檢查。所以我們家長就是孩子英語作業的監督者，督促孩子多聽磁帶、多讀書，然後對孩子的情況做一簡單的小結，簽上家長的姓名，到校我們會根據大家的簽字給予孩子評價和鼓勵。這樣孩子在校和在家都能對所學知識進行鞏固和複習，長此以往，他的英語興趣、口語、成績就都能有所進步。
2、和孩子一起學英語。語文上提倡“親子共讀”,同樣英語也可以採用這個辦法。和孩子一起學英語，看英語節目，進行簡單的英語對話，這都是對英語孩子英語興趣的培養，這比你買許多的英語學習資料，讓孩子自己去學的效果要好得多。不會英語的家長你也不用擔心，你還可以讓孩子當你的老師，來教你英語，這樣孩子在教的過程中又學了一遍，還有一種成功的心理體驗。
3.準備一個播放機(待定)和一個家庭作業本
我們現在就得打下良好的英語基礎，才不會導致英語越學越難，通過以往對每屆學生觀察發現很多學生都是在同一起跑線上起跑的，但經過兩三年的學習，學生與少數學生之間可能會拉開一定的差距。那相對來說如果剛開始沒有用心學好英語，那相對來說，孩子以後會學得很累，將來的英語學習也是不難想像的。
希望我們雙方在寶貝們的基礎階段都能多投入一些，家長的重視更會讓孩子增加信心，相信您的孩子會給予你更多的回報!
當然了，孩子的教育不單單只是靠一次家長會就能解讀的，希望我們可以經常的交流和溝通，相信在我們真誠的攜手努力下我們的孩子能夠健健康康，快快樂樂的學習和成長!
