這天我演講的題目是“磨難也是一種財富”。
也許你曾抱怨過上帝是捉弄人的，他對你吝嗇幸福，卻讓痛苦折磨著你，日日夜夜，疲憊不堪，換來的只是滾燙的淚珠。但苦盡甘來後，當你揭開那沉重的幕紗，你會看清，上帝其實是公平的，磨難也是一種財富。
以前有人做了這樣一個試驗。他點清了一座山林中的紅羊後，把山中的狼全部捕捉起來，讓紅羊沒有敵人。照理說，紅羊就應是悠閒自得、快樂地生活了，但事與願違，紅羊為了爭奪一小片土地、甚至一棵青草而搏鬥，由原先一支整齊的隊伍變為一盤散沙。
經過搏鬥的紅羊一隻只疲憊不堪，過去那種矯健、奔跑如飛的紅羊在這座山林中再未曾出現過，而且，紅羊的數量也在逐漸減少。是什麼原因呢?
因為人們捕獲了狼，紅羊沒有了給它們造成生命威脅的動物，而自相殘殺直至消亡，失去了危機。同時也失去了生機。可見，在生態環境中，沒有磨難就不會有生態平衡的系統。
人生如一塊璞玉，這是上帝賜予你的財富，這塊璞玉中有著酸甜苦辣，也許痛苦過後便是幸福，這是上帝給予你的機遇。只有自己努力來雕琢這塊璞玉，才能使它成為完美無瑕的藝術品。
