通過一個多學期的觀察，我發覺有些孩子在英語課堂上學得很好，老師教的一般都會讀，但第二天的反饋卻比較差。一年級學生的學習能力、接受新知識的能力比較強，但遺忘能力也十分強，如果當天晚上不進行複習的話，第二天往往會把前一天學習的內容忘記。所以為了讓您的孩子英語學習有連續性，在課外，我希望家長能夠多關心孩子的英語學習狀況，並提以下幾點建議：
1.幫助孩子養成聽英語習慣。
⑴每天安排一個固定的.時間（10分鐘左右）督促孩子聽英語。如每天固定在晚上7：00聽英語，則每天一到這個時間就幫助孩子準備好，讓孩子養成習慣。聽英語時，能聽一句跟著說一句，並對比自己的發音，儘量模仿，自己糾正。
⑵幫助孩子完成聽說英語作業。因為我們是從口語開始訓練，所以一年級的英語作業大多是聽和說。讓孩子看著英語單詞卡片說一說，或邊做動作邊說等等。並建議家長讓孩子看著英語書第一頁的英語彙總表讓孩子讀一讀上面的句子和單詞。
2.幫助孩子養成用英語的習慣。
我們的英語教學不從a b c字母開始，而從英語口語開始，一方面是遵從學習規律；另一方面是為了孩子套用的需要。我希望您能多問問
孩子“今天英語學到了什麼”，孩子學到的兒歌，歌曲等可以鼓勵他表演給別人看。有條件的還可以用學到的與孩子對話。總之，鼓勵孩子把學到的在家裡用起來。
3. 幫孩子蒐集一些少兒英文歌曲，在家裡多讓孩子聽一聽。
