1)可操作性:指除設計者完成外,要充分考慮其他可能參與人員是否可能重複製作活動場地、當前教學機器人的潛力、本學齡段學生的知識水平和能力等因素,使其他參與者經過努力也可以完成相關的活動。
2)經濟性:指要考慮其他參與人員在場地、機器人及設備製作等方面的經濟承受能力,儘量使參與者自己創造條件,修舊利廢,以最小的投入完成相關活動。
3)安全性:指機器人和活動環境的設計,應當是安全和是健康的,活動時不對周邊人員構成威脅,不對環境造成破壞。同時必須遵從阿西莫夫提出的“機器人三原則”。
可行性原則這是中國小機器人創新活動的基礎。
3、創新性原則:教學機器人這一平台,為參與者提供了豐富的創新空間,創新是技術活動的本質所在。在設計機器人活動時,應體現出創新性原則,這也是機器人活動的亮點之處。可以是師生根據日常生活經驗、學習體會和構思的新創意,也可以是對以前某些機器人功能的改進、活動項目的再提升。這是中國小機器人創新活動的核心。
4、智慧型性原則:設計的機器人應能反映出機器人的本質特性,即體現出機器人的智慧型性(如感知、規劃、動作和協同等能力)。應是按照周圍環境的輸入信息來做出判斷、基於感測器控制、獨立地根據程式指令、而決定自己的行動的具有一定自主能力的機器人。這是中國小機器人創新活動的魅力。
5、趣味性原則:設計的機器人活動,應當具有一定的趣味性,能夠引起相關學齡段學生參與的積極性和興趣;還要具有一定的可觀賞性,能使參與者和觀眾都能對該活動引起相應的興趣和關注。這是中國小機器人創新活動的活力。
6、競技性原則:機器人競賽活動應具有一定的競技性,在規定的活動時間內,可以評價出參與者的思維能力、技術水平等。還應具有一定的挑戰性,綜合能力不同的參與者,可能達到不同的活動結果,使參與者對機器人活動總有新的追求欲望。同時要注意公平性,只要學生設計的機器人可以完成本項活動,就允許參加,制定的評價方案也要是不產生歧義、可操作的。應當以參與者活動過程體驗為出發點。這是中國小機器人創新活動的動力。
在機器人“功能創新項目”評價中,要重點把握創新性原則、智慧型性原則、可套用性和可靠性原則。可套用性主要指是為解決某個實際問題而設計(儘管當前可能是不理想的);可靠性是指機器人運行時,系統是可靠、穩定的。
