根據美國法學院入學委員會（law school admission council, lsac）官方網站的內容，lsac現在同美國大學註冊主任與招生官員聯合會（american association of collegiate registrars and admissions officers, aacrao）聯合為申請美國或加拿大ll.m.學位（或類似學位）的國際學生提供證書檔案的統一寄送服務（credential assembly service）。
該服務將首先收集有關學生的成績單、toefl成績及其他相關檔案，然後應學生要求，按照各個法學院的要求替學生向美國法學院寄送相關檔案。該服務費用185美元，包含向五所學校寄送材料的費用。本服務有效期為5年。請注意，即使採用了該服務，學生依舊應當按照各個學校的要求進行申請，提交諸如ps，推薦信等材料。
根據lsac官方網站的信息，截至2004年5月10日，美國已經有包括紐約大學法學院在內的10所法學院要求學生在申請時使用該服務（本人查看個有關學校的相關網頁，發現這些學校並沒有要求必須使用該服務）；包括耶魯和哈佛在內的41所法學院推薦申請人使用該服務。
