1、job, labour, work這一組名詞都表示“工作”。
job指具體的“工作，職業”，特別是指有報酬的工作。它是可數名詞。如：he has a good job in a bank.他在銀行有一份很好的工作。they were paid according to the number of jobs they completed.他們是按勞計酬的。

tour指途中作短期逗留的巡迴旅行，強調遊覽多處，距離可長可短，常用來指觀光與商業旅行等。如：she made a tour of korea.她去韓國旅行了一次。he has gone on a walking tour.他去參加了步行旅遊。
trip通常指往返定時的短途旅行，如因公出差及遊覽度假等，它可指海陸空的旅行，並往往暗示會回到原出發地。在比較通俗的用法中，常可代替journey表示長途旅行。如：i am going to make a trip to hangzhou.我準備去杭州旅遊。he took several trips to shanghai in 1997.在一九九七年，他去了幾次上海。
