1、already通常和現在完成時連用，而不和一般過去時連用。
（×）next month she's going back to shanghai. she booked the tickets already.
（√）next month she's going back to shanghai. she has booked the tictets already.
下月她即將返回上海。她已經訂了票。
2、辨析already，still和yet
一定要區分好它們的意思和用法，這三個詞經常同時出現在考試題中。already是“已經”的意思，一般用於肯定句，常與完成時連用；still是“仍然，還是”，強調動作在進行中，主要用於肯定句中； yet是“已經，還”，一般用於否定句和疑問句，常位於句末。
- she is still in bed at 10 o'clock. 十點她還在睡覺。
- they haven't been there yet. 他們還沒到那兒。
3、辨析already和all ready
already是副詞，意思是“已經”；all ready是詞組，意思是“都準備好了”。
