阿納斯塔西婭原名anastacia newkirk，1973年9月17日出生於美國芝加哥，父親是酒店歌手，母親是紐約百老匯的演員。她14歲時父母離異，隨母親來到紐約，並進入藝術學校。阿納斯塔西婭1999年參加mtv的新秀選拔賽後加入樂壇。簽約sony之後於XX年發行了個人首張專輯《並非它類》(not that kind)獲得巨大成功，銷量逾200萬。XX年發行第二張專輯《自然的怪誕》(freak of nature)，當前的單曲“paid my dues”在全球熱播不斷。阿納斯塔西婭的演唱和舞蹈風格以隨性自由為特點，金髮白膚的搶眼外形之下蘊藏的卻是一把“擁有純粹的黑人靈魂的聲線”。去年11月1日，國際足聯最終確定阿納斯塔西婭來演唱XX年韓日世界盃主題歌“風暴”。
