同學們我們都知道5月1日要放假，可是大家知道它到底是什麼節日?為什麼要放假為什麼要舉國歡慶呢?
“五一”節其實就是五一國際勞動節，是全世界勞動人民共同的節日。每年的“五一”國際勞動節，都成為我們讚美勞動者、歌頌勞動的節日。
我們現在還是小學生，紀念“五一”國際勞動節，首先應當牢記自己的學習使命。培養高尚的情操，掌握豐富的知識，學會更多的技能，為將來成為一名優秀的勞動者打下堅實的基礎，知識就是力量，今天我們學會的知識越多，將來就能為祖國、為人民作出更多的貢獻。
我們應該從小養成愛勞動的好習慣。在家裡，自己的一服自己穿，自己的床鋪自己疊，自己的書包自己理;在學校，積極打掃衛生，時刻保持換進的整潔;在社會上，積極參加力所能及的公益活動，培養自己的適應能力。
