晚上好，很感謝各位家長在百忙中抽出時間來參加今天的家長會，很高興能有這樣一個機會，能和大家進行面對面的交流。今天我想就國小英語教學和這半學期在教學中存在的一些問題與各位家長共同探討，以便更好地幫助孩子學好英語，用好英語，為日後的英語學習打好紮實的基礎。
國小英語對小學生來說是一個重要的起步階段。其實要學好英語，課上占40%，其餘的60%還需要學生在課後不斷的鞏固，加深記憶。在課上老師更多的是教授新知識，當然課上也會有少量的時間鞏固新學的知識。但是這些時間是公共的時間，所以不可能照顧到每個學生，不可能讓所有學生都達到相同的程度。在學校老師會盡最大的努力進行教學，但課餘時間還需要廣大家長大力配合。如：每天回家聽錄音、背誦要家長多督促;確保孩子每天至少邊聽錄音，邊跟讀課文15分鐘，要讀出聲音，最好家長在旁監督，會更有效。所以請家長一定要從現在起重視孩子的英語學習。為了協助孩子更好地學好英語，請家長配合老師完成以下工作：
1、每天檢查孩子的回家作業是否完成，保證第二天能按時上交。在這裡我懇請每位家長認真督促孩子完成老師每天布置的作業，尤其是抄寫單詞一定要嚴格要求按照他們的英語書寫，寫得不好的家長也可以要求他們重新做，檢查作業主要看他們書寫和格式以及上次老師的批改，注意檢查他們有沒有訂正，有時候，老師在學生的作業本上批了訂正，但是交上來的時候學生並沒有去訂正，希望各位家長能夠支持老師的工作，如果您有什麼意見也可以寫在作業本上，便於及時溝通.
2、開學以來，很多學生忘記帶作業本，帶英語課本。課上只能和同桌共看一本書，結果是一堂課下來，老師講的知識沒有學到多少，我希望家長能夠每天按照課表提醒孩子收拾好書包，檢查好明天要帶的作業和課本，養成良好的學習習慣。

上午好!
今天，很榮幸地作為孩子的英語老師，和大家共同探討英語學習的問題，本人水平有限，不當之處，敬請批評指正。
首先簡單說一下剛剛過去的期中教學檢測的情況。這次考試總體還是不錯的，但是不能說明一切，但卻可以反映一些您的孩子在學校里的學習情況。因為孩子們都是在三年級開始學英語的，經過近兩年的學習，他們之間已經拉開了不小的差距。一些學生學習興趣濃，學習勁頭足，在課堂上能夠積極思維，踴躍發言，課後也能夠及時複習和鞏固，形成了良性循環的好勢頭。先看試卷，也有一些學生，平時學習態度不認真，書面作業拖延不交，口頭作業根本不完成，基礎不紮實，結果功虧一簣，學習自然也成了件頭痛事，麻煩事。我認為，孩子學習上的差別關鍵與孩子的學習習慣和方法有關。有的孩子的習慣非常好，能夠自覺主動的按時完成老師的要求，有的孩子沒有養成好習慣，不知道為什麼要學習和怎樣高效地學習，學習也就沒有了積極性和主動性了。那么怎樣幫助孩子學好英語呢?下面我將作業的情況和需要家長們配合的地方做一下說明。
1、聽讀的作業：請務必督促學生在家聽英語並跟讀，直到熟練，最好能背誦，這樣做可以培養語感，對孩子的學習有很大幫助。
2.星號單詞的默寫：每一單元的五角星詞是要求會聽說讀寫的，家長可以讓學生自己默寫或者說中文意思學生寫英文都可以，但最重要的是在學生默寫完後，督促他們對著書本及時更正。
3.抄寫的作業：布置抄寫單詞，其目的不在於抄多少遍，而在於讓學生記住這些單詞。但是在實際操作中，我發現學生不重視這項作業，認為只是抄抄而已，書寫潦草，只求速度，更別說是去背了，結果所學知識得不到鞏固，幾次下來，他就會掉隊了，而且更沒有了學習的積極性，久而久之，形成惡性循環。因此，懇請各位家長在家裡要督促孩子保質保量地完成英語作業。而且只要有背誦的作業都需要簽名，以便老師及時掌握學習情況，最好寫清楚掌握到什麼情況，比如已讀熟，或已背誦，或哪個詞不會讀等等。實際上，我們班簽字的情況不是很理想，每次都會有部分同學找各種理由推脫。所以建議家長及時檢查過問孩子的作業情況，督促孩子按時完成作業，簽好字。
另外，我認為多和老師溝通和交流也很重要，這樣可以及時發現問題並及時糾正錯誤。最好不要等著老師去跟你聯繫，因為有的孩子多次不寫作業或不帶課本怕被批評，就不告訴老師家長的號碼，或者說一個空號和停機的號，給家校溝通帶來不便。
總之，只要孩子每天進步一小步，就會向成功邁進一大步，不妨把您的時間多一點留給孩子,把您的關心多一點送給孩子 ,把您的信心多一點讓給孩子，孩子會帶給你很大的驚喜。最後，送給大家一句話以共勉，教育孩子的時候要常用拇指---多鼓勵，慎用食指---少批評。 祝願各位家長身體健康，工作順利，謝謝。
