祖國是我們的母親，現在她變得富貴，變得美麗，變得強壯了，可是在以前有許多許多的侵略者來侵略我們的祖國，來搶取我們的財物。
在鴉片戰爭時期，許多的外國人把鴉片帶到中國，強迫中國人民吸毒，好多人因為吸上癮而死去，不過後來林則徐帶領著軍隊把敵人給趕走了，把鴉片給燒了。可是外國人卻帶走了一箱箱的黃金白銀。留下的卻是中國母親的侮辱。在南京大屠殺中，日本人殺死了我們多少同胞。別的國家也紛紛簽訂契約，我國死傷慘重。
自從新中國成立以來，祖國母親富裕起來了，祖國母親強大起來了，別的國家就不敢來侵略我們了，但與此同時，我們的祖國母親已經是傷痕累累了。在看到圓明園被毀，我們是既憤怒又傷心，這是因為祖國在我心中。
在北京奧運會上，我認為顏色最鮮艷的國旗是五星紅旗，因為祖國在我心中。每當奧運健兒在比賽的時候我們會吶喊助威，這是因為祖國在我心中。每當奧運健兒得獎時，我們會為他感動自豪、感到高興，這是因為祖國在我心中。
