the spring festival is the most important festival in china. it is on january 1st according to the chinese lunar calendar(中國的農曆). it’s china’s new year’s day. so usually a month before the festival people begin to buy food clothes and decorations(裝飾) for houses.
about a week before the festival housewives are busy preparing the new year dinner. and they will do a lot of washing and cleaning in the houses. people who are far away on business are hurrying to return home for the new year’s family reunion（團聚）.
on new year eve each family will gather tighter eating talking and watching tv for almost the whole night. and there will be some interesting programmes on tv. the children are the happiest of all because they can get presents from parents or grandparents.
on lunar new year’s day after getting up people will eat dumplings. when they meet their neighbours or friends they’ll say: “happy new year!”

小時候的春節，是溫馨的，是淘氣的。結束了大半年的學業，與其是說對寒假是期盼，不如是說對春節的渴望.臘月二十之後，過年的氣氛便渲染了我們。我和哥哥們每天跟在大人的身後，貼春聯，掛福字，包餃子等一系列過年習俗的準備。
又是回家過年的時刻了，一場中華大地特有的奔徙已經上演。今年過年，你回家嗎？今年是我在外過的第二個春節了，感覺那么淒涼。由於高中學習緊張，放假時間很短，學校離家很遠，一頭在南方，另一頭在北方。
今天是大年三十，早晨起來，伸個懶腰，打開窗戶，深呼吸，感覺今天的一切都是那么美好。一大早奶奶就上街買了許多我愛吃的菜，開始忙活。媽媽也幫著打下手。我和爸爸也準備上街，買些年貨。雖說是個小鎮，也異常的熱鬧。
盼望著，盼望著。終於，春節來臨了。噼里啪啦的鞭炮好似新年的鐘聲，四面八方都在響，整個城市沉浸在了乳汁一樣的煙霧中，迷迷濛蒙的。春節對我們小朋友來說是個非常高興的日子，因為在春節里可以穿上自己喜歡的新衣服。
春節，實際上也就過那么一天，具體點應該是除夕這一個晚上。這不，下午我和爸爸一起貼好了春聯，爸媽兩人做好了餃子餡兒，我們全家就開始忙活包餃子了我主動向媽媽情願：我來擀皮兒。媽媽同意了。
春節在大家默默的盼望中悄悄來臨，春節應該是快樂的，熱鬧的，興奮的，但今年的這個春節我卻覺得一點兒也不快樂。我漫步在家鄉的大路上，沐浴著柔和的陽光，在如此美好的環境下，我不由自主的用微笑迎接新的一年。
年是熬年的年。民間一直流傳著這樣一個傳說：在太古時期，有一種兇惡的怪獸，人們管它們叫年。它面貌猙獰且生性兇殘，每隔一段時間就要出來傷害人畜，毀壞農田，使人們談年色變。後來，人們算準了年的活動規律，把那可怕的一天稱為年關。
