地球是我們的家，同時也是我們的母親。地球無償的供給我們各種資源，而我們卻還為了一點蠅頭小利，不顧後果的肆意去破壞她。正如《只有一個地球》那篇文章所說的，我們不能再指望破壞了地球移居到別的星球上去，地球如果滅亡了，那么降臨到地球上的命運終究也會降臨到人類身上。所以我們亡羊補牢，為時不晚，保護我們的地球，愛護環境，我建議大家做到如下幾點：
1.珍惜現在的每一口空氣，把工廠的數量儘可能的減少，工業廢氣也會隨之減少。可喜的是，我們看到政府已將許多重污染的工廠叫停，限期整改或遷移。我們還知道每家每戶用的煤氣已改成了天然氣，倡導步行少用汽車，這都是保護大氣的舉措。我們還要多植樹造林，森林不僅能呼出新鮮空氣，還能淨化空氣。要制止亂砍伐森林的行為，要少破壞大自然。
2.不要濫用各種資源，如，煤、礦、木、水……如果這些資源被無止境的開採，必定會形成各種資源的枯竭，當人們沒有資源時，我們就無法生存了。
3.水是生命的源泉，但是它又實在太少了。雖然表面看起來地球上大面積都被水覆蓋，可是能用的卻不到十分之一，許多城市嚴重缺水，所以，我們要節約用水。目前，學校倡導我們在家裡的馬桶水箱裡放一個寶特瓶子，不正是節約用水的舉措嗎?用洗菜、淘米的水澆花，用洗衣服的水沖馬桶，不正是為節約用水盡一份力嘛!
雖然我們一兩個人改變不了地球的命運，但是只要全國人民都從身邊的點滴小事做起，保護和珍惜我們的地球，地球就能炫出青春的笑臉!

是什麼讓我們這位母親的資源越來越少了呢?當然是我們人類過度的糟蹋不珍惜，才會造成這樣嚴重的結果的。我們的地球森林面積曾經達到了6億公頃，這筆驚人的數字是由於我們人類以前有著保護環境的重要意識，深知如果沒有了良好的環境，我們也就無法呼吸到微風輕拂過草面的甜美味道。而現在呢?我們地球的森林面積還不到了6公頃，這種狀況，就是因為我們人類不加節制地砍伐樹木和毀林開荒而造成的，使世界上的森林面積幾乎每年減少了1%，現在我們的保護在自然的重要意識越來越淺，不愛護身邊的一草一木，由於森林逐漸變少，我們呼吸的第一口空氣也就越來越不清新……
還不止森林資源被破壞，還有我們的礦產資源。它是有限的，現在我們的開採技術不斷提高，速度不斷加快，使某些礦種發生短缺，甚至面臨枯竭。到那時，我們將永遠呆在荒涼的大地上。
面對這些，可以看出來我們失去的資源真是太多太多了!我們的依賴的資源也太多了!在我們身邊，點點滴滴的資源都在減少，如果失去了這一切，我們將如何生活!所以，讓我們真心地善待我們的地球母親，努力去珍惜，去愛惜。哪怕只是多用一個小小的塑膠袋，這也是不應該的!
讓我們行動起來，保衛地球吧!
