四月一日是“愚人節”，這是眾所周知的事情。在這一天，作怪是天經地義的事情。許多人卯足了勁，一心想把愚人節的無厘頭髮揮到極致。之前，任何人都可以炮製駭人聽聞的訊息，而且不負絲毫的道德和法律責任，政府和法務部門也不會追究。相反，誰編造的謊言最離奇、最能騙取人們相信，誰還會榮膺桂冠。這種做法給社會帶來不少混亂，因而引起人們的不滿。現在，人們在節日期間的愚弄欺騙已不再像過去那樣離譜，而是以輕鬆歡樂為目的。
有整人的人，自然也有“被整”的受害者啦。在英語中，愚人節里被耍的人叫做：april fish。這是種說法是怎么來的呢。
首先，我們來看一下愚人節來起源：
in 1582 france became the first country to switch from the julian to the gregorian calendar. this meant that the beginning of the year was moved from the end of march to january 1. if someone failed to keep up with the change and continued to celebrate the new year between march 25th and april 1st, various jokes would be played on him. this story might explain why april 1st specifically became the date of the modern holiday.
這個節日起源於法國。
16世紀的時候，多數基督教國家都使用儒略曆，把3月25日到4月1日作為新年節日來慶祝。按習俗4月1日這天，人們要互贈禮物致賀。1564年，法國首先採用新改革的紀年法——格里曆(即目前通用的陽曆)，以1月1日為一年之始。但是，有些人沒能聽說或者聽說了但不相信新年改天了。他們還是按照老習慣在4月1號這天過年，這個新年本身已經夠“虛假”了。後來，有些愛惡作劇的人，乾脆把禮物也變成虛假的。說是送一盒點心，裡邊可能是塊石頭。聲言前去拜訪，卻讓主人乾等半天。受騙的人不甘心，也照方抓藥，進行報復，久而久之，就形成了愚人節。
為什麼被耍的人和“fish”有關呢？
the french eventually adopted april 1 as a new celebration of these very events, and called it poisson d'avril meaning ''april fish'', a term that is used to this day. so why the term ''april fish''? because the new year once coincided with the sun leaving the zodiacal sign of pisces.
在法語中，“愚人節”的說法是“poisson d'avril”，翻譯成英語就是“april fish”。
那為什麼會是“april fish”呢？因為儒略曆的新年曾經和太陽離開雙魚宮的日子正好吻合，所以，當時更新了新的紀年法卻還在4月1日過新年的人，就被稱作“april fish”啦。如今，法國人把愚人節叫做“上鉤的魚”。法國孩子會在朋友的背上貼一條魚，以此來戲弄別人。當那個受騙上當的小朋友發現以後，開玩笑的人就大叫“上鉤的魚兒”！
