那天早上，媽媽一大早就起來做湯圓，我和姐姐也跟著起來了。媽媽把糯米粉放進盆里，讓姐姐把溫開水倒進粉里，就開始和糯米糰了。媽媽還告訴我，要是太幹了，就再加進一些溫開水。過了十多分鐘後，媽媽把糯米粉揉成了一團，我想拿一點糯米糰來搓湯圓。姐姐說：“妹妹，你太小，不要搓湯圓了，去睡覺吧!”我說：“我會認真搓的。”於是，媽媽拿一小塊糯米糰給我搓，我搓的湯圓有大有小，姐姐看了不興奮說：“叫你別搓你就不聽，看你把湯圓搓成這樣子!”媽媽說：“沒關係，這是祖孫父子圓，這樣才像一家子嘛，圓圓滿滿的。”聽了媽媽說的話後，我自得地向姐姐扮了個鬼臉。
湯圓搓好了，媽媽拿到廚房去煮。不一會兒，湯圓煮熟了，媽媽把兩顆湯圓放在門的上面。我問媽媽：“為什麼要這樣做呢?”媽媽說：“湯圓又甜又圓，表示團團圓圓，甜甜蜜蜜。”媽媽舀了幾碗湯圓給我們吃，說：“吃了湯圓又長一歲了，你們可要更懂事啊!”
我喜歡吃湯圓，所以我喜歡冬至，冬至搓湯圓真有趣啊，真希望每天都是冬至!
