【寫法指要】
聘請信（letters of employment）主要用於聘請對方前來工作、講學等。這種信需寫明聘請的目的、給予對方的待遇以及聘請期限。有時可用一些表示崇敬的語句，如這封信中寫的“As you are a world well-known scholar and doctor in….”即是。由於這種信多半是寫給不認識的人的，所以要用較為正式的文體和格式來寫，表示對對方的尊重。
