考研英語聽力之--各類活動類基本要求 四、各類活動(Activities)
1.約會(Date)
約會是人們日常交際中重要的活動。當我們需要和別人一起參加某項活動，或拜訪他人，就應當徵求別人的意見，提前約定：
Would Dr. Norman be able to see me at nine sharp tonight?(今天晚上九點諾曼醫生有時間見我嗎？)
Alice, do you happen to be free this afternoon?(愛麗絲，你今天下午有空嗎？)
I was wondering if you were doing anything on Saturday evening? (星期六晚上您是否有空？)
How about going on a hike tomorrow? (去踏青，好嗎？)
Should I make an appointment with you for the next few days?(以後幾天我還需要和你預約嗎？)
對別人的邀請，我們應該先表示感謝，然後表明我們的態度，接受或者不接受。如果我們不能接受，就應向對方委婉表明緣故，並感謝對方的好意。
在英語中，我們可以經常這樣說：
Oh, surely I can, I餯 really appreciate it.(喔，當然可以，我非常樂意！)
That餾 settled then.(就這么定了。)
I餯 love to, but I...(我很想去，但是……)
我們也可以從下面的對話中體會：
A: Good morning. Doctor Croat餾 office. Can I help you?
B: I餯 like to make an appointment to see the dentist.
A: Let me see. I can arrange for you to see the doctor in a week.
B: Can餿 I see him tomorrow?
A: I餸 afraid you can餿. The dentist is very busy these days.
2.觀光和旅遊(Visit and tour)
此類對話多為介紹性或喜好類內容，如介紹一個景點的特色、對某件紀念品的喜好等。其中涉及的內容較多，考核範圍較廣。
