第3天，我們學習了林燕玲講師的《英語語音技能訓練（歌謠）》課程。林講師是英語教育碩士研究生，曾擔任英語視聽說、綜合英語等多門大學課程的教學工作，曾在美國etbu大學進行過漢語語言與文化課程教學及文化交流工作。她教我們將平時教學中枯燥乏味的單詞、句子設計成歌詞，再配以動聽的歌譜，製作成音樂，創編成朗朗上口的兒歌，幫助小學生們簡單快樂地學習英語。在她的課堂中，我們親身體會到原來每一詞每一句都可以成為動聽的歌曲。
第4天是我們跟崗研習的時間，我們小組被按排到端州區第十六國小聽課、交流學習。十六小位於市中心，學校面積比較小，但校園布置整潔大方，書香味極濃。我們首先在黎彩萍校長的帶領下參觀了學校的文化長廊，然後在電教室等待聽課的過程中，黎校長又向我們詳細介紹了他們學校的辦學理念、學校特色、學校歷史及學校發展藍圖。其中有許多非常優秀的經驗很值得我們借鑑與學習。例如，十六小對學生的培訓與發展是跟蹤式的，而且是終身式的，並不單單是國小義務教育這6年，他們時刻關注著從國小畢業出去的學生的發展情況，將取得傑出成就的學生樹立為在校學生學習的榜樣，以此教育學生持之以恆地學習、發展。如，在文化長廊中就展示了1993年從十六小畢業的學生戴晶晶，曾復耶魯大學研修，現任中國科學院研究員。再有，十六小的學生“美德銀行存摺”的德育活動也十分有創意。他們學校為每位學生設計一個小本本，將學期中所做的好人好事登記下來，並以積分積累，稱之“美德銀行存摺”，期末學校就憑“存摺”中的積分跟學校對換榮譽與獎品。以此活動來長期幫助學生形成良好美德及健康的生活習慣。
