完形填空是以閱讀為形式，以上下文為基礎，以詞法和語法為手段測試考生解決語言信息空缺的能力。從歷年考題看，完形填空所選文章難度不大，加上正確選項後，對大多數考生來說閱讀起來幾乎沒有困難。
一．精講對策
1）、用1至2分鐘的時間快讀全文，快讀全文是為了把握文章的大意和中心，把握文章發展的基本線索。快讀中，可以不管空格，對要填的內容做一大概的猜測即可。
2）、要有整體觀，要瞻前顧後，先易後難。做題時，文章首句和尾句要特別注意，前者往往是文章全貌的視窗，後者往往是起畫龍點睛作用和總結性句子；先易後難指的是沒有把握的選項就空著，不可主觀判斷，草草選上一個充數，事實上，文章最前面的空格碰到的問題很有可能要到文章的末尾才能找到答案。
3）、核對全文，核對的意義不是第二次重做，而是要檢查前後是否貫通，內容是否含糊矛盾，再從語法角度仔細檢查，以便彌補疏漏。
4）、對於個別難度較大的選項，這種選項往往是同義詞語，不容易辨別出它們之間的細微差別，則要憑自己的第一感覺，這和胡猜是兩碼事，這裡是用語感在做選擇。
