上一節課我們已經把契約的主體部分講解完了，今天還剩契約的尾部（end）。
尾部包括契約的備註說明，簽約雙方的簽名，有效期，法規依據等內容。比如：this contract shall come into effect after signature by the both parties. this contract is made out in two original copies, one copy to be held by each party.
本契約經雙方簽字後立即生效。一式兩份，雙方各執一份。
通常，在簽字的時候，不僅要有列印的字型，雙方還要有手寫體的簽名。
契約翻譯中還有一些常用的詞組，這些詞組和我們平時所用的有些不同，看以下例子：
1. 儘管(despite, in spite of)：在契約中我們通常使用notwithstanding
2. 依據：according to; in accordance with; under; subject to; as provided in; …
3. 鑒於：hereof; hereto; herein; hereby; hereinafter; hereunder; whereby; whereas; …
4. 因為：because of; on account of; due to; attribute to; by virtue of; …
5. 保證：undertake to; represent and warrant; guarantee; warrant; …
6. 有義務做：be obliged to do sth.; have the obligation to do sth.; shall; be responsible / liable for
7. 完成：effect;…
此外，對於契約的翻譯，還要注意：1. 詞序變化較大，尤其是狀語的變化；2. 使用短語代替從句，是結構緊湊；3. 善於使用被動語態；4. 使用否定前提來強調。
