one-horse town--鄉村小鎮。
這一短語源自美國，由小鎮僅擁有一匹馬而來。
由此引申，one-horse現在可以表示 “極小的、簡陋 的、次要的” 意思，如one-horse show（小型展覽會）。
由one組合成的習語。而又毫無 “一” 這一含義的習語還有：
