there are four members in my family; my parents, my cute cat of 9 years old and me. my father is a technician in the fujian tv station. he often goes out on business. so most of the housework is done by my industrious mom. climbing at weekends is our common interest. the fresh air and natural beauty can help us get rid of tiredness. they can strengthen our relation, too. during my preparing for coming here, my parents'' love and support have always been my power. and i hope in future i will be able to repay them.

1. 自我介紹篇(重點)。基本上每個院校每個專業的口試中都會涉及這一方面。考官其實是要藉此了解你的口頭表達能力以及你的報名表之外的一些信息。自我介紹時間以2-3分鐘為宜。思路要清楚，要突出重點，口語儘量流利(不要太流利了，有背誦之嫌)。
1) 考官要求你作自我介紹時，不要用…let me introduce myself briefly / please allow me to introduce myself to you等句子，重複、囉嗦。開頭可以只用一句話引入：dear professors, i feel so glad to meet all of you here。然後就可以進入主題，介紹姓名、年齡等等。
2) 自我介紹的主體內容。
① 姓名。介紹自己姓名時，發音一定要準(南方考生要多加注意)。
② 年齡。年齡可以跟在姓名後帶過(i am xxx, 25 years old)。
③ 原來的院校、專業。注意：一定要把原來學校的英文名稱、專業的英文名稱弄清楚(尤其是跨校、跨專業的學生)。
所屬的公司、職位。注意：在職考生則應將自己公司、自己職位/職稱的英文名稱弄明白。
④ 性格、能力。可以著重強調你的個性對你報考的專業有何積極的作用。如果報考的是學術性的專業，可以說自己細心(carefully，detail- oriented)、條理分明(logical)、踏實(steady)等;如果是研究性、套用性更強一點的專業，可以說自己負責 (responsible)、可靠(dependable)、有效率(efficient)等。
其他的一些表示性格、能力的形容詞有：active, aggressive(有進取心的)， adaptable, amicable(友好的)， analytical(善於分析的)， cooperative, creative, disciplined, dutiful, energetic, faithful, gentle, independent(有主見的)， innovative, motivated, modest, objective, precise, punctual, precise(一絲不苟的)， temperate等等。
在職考生或有過工作經驗的考生還可以強調一下你的工作成績，如：as the assistant to the general manger of xxx company, i have helped to negotiate a $200,000 deal for the corporation。
⑤ 愛好。all work and no play make jack a dull boy. 除了強調你的學習的重視，同時也要避免給考官一種“書呆子”的感覺。一般可以從體育、音樂、電影等方面來說，同時要簡單說明這些愛好對你的積極意義 (build my body, relax myself, open my mind…);注意避免提到那些可能引起考官反感的愛好，如：playing computer games，watching tv等。
