I believe in our future
Honorable Judges, fellow students:
Good afternoon!
Recently, ther is a heated debate in our society. The college students are the beneficiaries of a rare privilege, who receive exceptional education at extraordinary places. But will we be able to face the challenge and support ourselves against all odds? Will we be able to better the lives of others? Will we be able to accept the responsibility of building the future of our country?
The cynics say the college students are the pampered lost generation, which would cringe at the slightest discomfort. But the cynics are wrong. The college students I see are eagerly learning about how to live independently. We help each other clean the dormitory, go shopping and bargain together, and take part time jobs to supplement our pocket money.
The cynics say we care for nothing other than grades; and we neglect the need for character cultivation. But again, the cynics are wrong. We care deeply for each other, we cherish freedom, we treasure justice, and we seek truth. Last week, thousands of my fellow students had their blood type tested in order to make a contribution for the children who suffer from blood cancer.
As college students, we are adolescents at the critical turning point in our lives. We all face a fundamental choice: cynicism or faith, each will profoundly impact our future, or even the future of our country. I believe in all my fellow classmates. Though we are still inexperienced and even a little bit childish. I believe that we have the courage and faith to meet any challenge and take on our responsibilities. We are preparing to assume new responsibilities and tasks, and to use the education we have received to make our world a better place. I believe in our future.

下午好!
最近，社會上有一場很激烈的爭論。大學生是一種稀有特權的享有者，在很棒的地方接受高等教育。但是，我們能面對挑戰而無所畏懼嗎?我們能夠改善他人的生活嗎?我們能夠承擔建設祖國未來的重任嗎?
懷疑論者說大學生是被寵壞的一代，一丁點挫折都受不了。但是他們錯了，我所看到的大學生正在努力的學習獨立生活。我們互相幫助打掃衛生，一起上街砍價購物，一起參加兼職工作來賺零花錢。
懷疑論者說我們除了成績什麼都不關心，從而忽略了性格的培養。但是，他們又錯了。我們彼此關心，我們嚮往自由，我們珍惜公正，我們追求真理。上個星期，很多我的同學去驗血，為了給患血癌的孩子貢獻自己的力量。
作為大學生，我們是處在人生分水嶺的青年。我們都面臨一個重要的選擇：懷疑人生還是相信自己，每一種都會給我們的人生帶來重大的影響，甚至影響我們祖國的未來。我相信我們的同學們，雖然我們依然缺乏經驗，甚至有些志氣，但是我相信我們有勇氣和自信來面對生活的挑戰並承擔我們的責任。我們正努力準備接受新的任務，用我們所學習的知識將世界變得更美好。我對我們的未來充滿信心。

你們好！
站在你們面前向大家行禮致意的，是來自×國中的××。我給我今天的演講起了一個題目，叫做“真心謝真愛，信心換信賴”。由於各位同人和各級領導的真情厚愛，我從一個普通的教師不斷的走上成長、成熟和成名的道路，在我的內心深處，充滿了難以言表的感激之情。今天，我站在這個競聘……國中校長的擂台上演講，心中有著無限的感慨。而我首先想說的是，我特別高興，也非常慶幸，自己能有今天這樣一個難得的機會，向各位尊敬的領導，匯報思想和工作，博取各位的認同；展示才華和成績，贏得大家的喝彩！
如果說教師是學生的表率，那么校長就應該是教師的楷模。我覺得一個優秀的校長，首先必須是一個優秀的教師。在這一點上，我顯得特別的自信。我自198×年參加工作以來，一直刻苦鑽研教育教學基本功，不斷提升自己作為一個優秀教師的基本素質。我通過函授獲取了南京師範大學數學系的本科畢業文憑，並一舉獲得學士學位。我深入教育教學第一線，用踏實的努力換來了累累的碩果（……工作經驗）。
讓我感到特別欣慰，也特別感到驕傲的是，在我用汗水換取這些成績和榮譽的過程中，我贏得了同事們的誠摯的友誼和真心的呵護，這使我在從事領導工作的過程中因為有了大家的理解和支持而顯得得心應手，遊刃有餘。在學校，我先後擔任教研組長，團總支書記，教導處副主任、主任，黨支部委員，副校長，主持全面工作。多年的教育教學實踐使我擁有了豐富的經驗，使我作為一校之長在帶領大家狠抓素質教育、全面提高教育教學質量的時候能夠保持十足的底蘊和百倍的信心，顯得理直氣壯，胸有成竹。在我擔任……國中主要負責人的說長不長、說短不短的一年中，我和同志們一起狠抓學風和校風建設，取得了明顯的成效。抓集體備課，統一進度，統一檢測；抓教學六認真，夯實基礎，堵塞漏洞；抓學科平衡，齊頭並進，均衡發展；完善獎懲機制，獎優罰劣，獎勤罰懶，最佳化效率，激發積極性……為學校教育教學質量的長足、穩固和均衡的發展奠定了良好的基礎。
有人說，校長就得有校長的架子。在這個問題上，不同的人有不同的看法。我覺得，如果這句話的意思是說，作為一個校長必須擁有與這一身份相匹配的思想素質和業務素質，也就是說他必須是一個德才兼備、品學兼優的人，我覺得這話是對的。但是如果說作為一個校長一定要有一個特定的模式，那我可就不敢苟同了。有的人剛做校長，就喜歡裝裝樣子，擺擺架子；師生面前板著個臉兒，領導面前眯著個眼兒；名為學校之魂，校內見不到人；一天到晚捧電話，朝思暮想搞浮誇。這樣的人把校長當作官兒來當，是一種自我定位的錯誤，可想而知是不受歡迎的。在過去的一年當中，我在時刻牢記自己作為校長所肩負的重擔的同時，時刻把自己置身於民眾之中，充分掌握了校長工作的主動權和發言權。
來過我校的朋友一定會對我們的那個簡陋寒磣的校長室有著深刻的印象：校門口旁邊，傳達室隔壁，15平方米，兩張辦公桌。
在許多學校的校長室一個比一個漂亮、一個比一個現代化的今天，人們對地處南通……的……國中不能擁有豪華亮麗的校長室而感到驚詫。其實我們這樣做的目的很簡單，一方面是便於更加深入和更加密切的聯繫民眾，校長隨時掌握學校管理的第一手資料，另一方面校長在主動置身民眾監督的同時，又在無形之中對師生的辦公和教學形成了一種監督和約束，對良好校風的形成和保持起到了很好的作用。
出於同樣的考慮，我作為校長還做了許多在旁人看來是“有失校長身份”的事情。例如和其他同志一樣的值班，白天和學生一起在同一張飯桌上吃同樣的飯菜，晚上就睡在公寓裡面簡陋的值班室里。這樣一來，老師學生們歡迎我，可是老婆孩子有意見。我的心裡充滿了對家人的歉意，可是一想到學校後勤工作牽涉到全校師生的切身利益，直接影響到教育教學的秩序和大局的穩定，我又堅定了自己的想法和做法。好幾個朋友問我：“天天吃食堂，不厭煩嗎？受得了嗎？”我說，如果我吃不消了，受不了了，這說明食堂的服務質量有問題，必須立即改進。這恰恰是我在食堂就餐的目的。以前食堂承包給個人的時候，我作為一個學校領導雖然受到了特別的優待，可是耳朵里充塞著學生和學生家長的埋怨譴責，心裡卻有著說不出的難受。這一學年裡，我們克服了種種困難，依靠民眾的力量，自己辦起了食堂。讓我感到特別欣慰的是，通過我們一班人的群策群力，科學管理，食堂辦得有聲有色，就餐的人數越來越多，讚美的聲音越來越多，連我的愛人和孩子也一改原先的反對，漸漸的理解我，支持我，最終跟隨我，成了食堂的常客。
憑良心說，由於管理的科學，食堂也給學校帶來一定的效益。我們為提高素質教育的質量，建立獎懲制度，倡導多勞多得，優績優酬，需要我們憑著自己的力量籌集資金，所以做校長的每天都在做著這樣一件可能並不為人所知的事情，那就是開源節流，在不違背原則的前提下儘可能的想法設法確保教師福利的到位。在過去的一年裡，我校的教職工消費合作社搞得紅紅火火，由建築商全額墊資建成的學生公寓在一開始就正常有序的運作，學校在從根本上滿足路遠學生住宿要求的同時，有望通過收取公寓住宿費在若干年內還清欠款並使學校從此每年擁有一筆固定的收入。。
尊敬的各位專家和領導，我說過，我今天演講的題目是“真心謝真愛，信心換信賴”。不管您將手中莊嚴的一票投給哪一位應聘者，您都是對我們學校的巨大支持，都是對我們學校的真愛，因此，如果大家允許的話，我在這裡不僅要以我個人的名義，還想代表×國中的1500多名師生員工對您的真情厚愛表示由衷的謝意和誠摯的敬意。與此同時，我對我自己充滿了信心，對×國中美好的明天充滿了信心。我在這裡也期待著各位專家和領導會賜予我信心和力量，信賴和支持，如同你們長期以來就一直信賴我們、支持我們一樣。說到這裡，我貧乏的語言倉庫里已經蒼白得只剩下一個簡單的辭彙我誠惶誠恐，只好將這一詞語搬來，權且當作我今天演講的結束語。這兩個就是—— 謝謝
i received a devastating blow to my self-confidence in the first interview of my college years. i applied to be a host in our student acting troupe and felt confident that i would be accepted. but one of the panel members told me: “you seem inadequate and you are a little vertically-challenged.” my life has never been the same since. i used bigger heels to complement my height and psychological maneuvers and tricks to hide my lack of confidence. but no matter how hard i tried to look the part, there was still something missing.
as president of english club, i organized the rehearsal of snow white for an english party. unfortunately, we could not find an actor to be the last dwarf. it had to be someone who was humorous by nature and fluent in english. suddenly, all eyes turned to me, and i knew i would have to be the dwarf. to my great surprise and delight, once on stage, i was totally absorbed in the performance and my humorous nature was put to full use. as the dwarf, i was a big hit.
yes, each of us is only one among millions of others, but each of us is an individual and each of us is unique. cultivating our individuality will transform our lives, making of them a kaleidoscope of new colors and textures.
a world deprived of diversity would be a bland and boring place. the real tragedy is not being short or shy or ugly, but having your identity lost in a world in which everyone is a clone of a model cool boy or a flawless charming girl.
given a choice, i would rather be ugly than live in such a world. i'd rather be a genuine dwarf accompanying a snow white than be a snow white among nothing but snow whites. i would rather be myself. i would contribute my individual and unique colors to create a more diverse universe. please, be yourself.
