我們祖國不但有秀麗的風光，也有許多對祖國做出過貢獻的人。雷鋒就是其中一位，雷鋒一生做了許多好事，但他從不留名字，可他的生命永遠定格在了22歲。雖然雷鋒不在了，但我們一定要把他那“做好事不留名”的精神延續下去。一個年僅7歲的孩子王二小，是兒童團團長，他為了把敵人帶入八路軍的包圍圈，犧牲了他的生命。後來人們為了紀念他，寫了一首叫>的歌……
我們祖國不但有這些為祖國貢獻過的人，也有發展日新月異的方面。我們祖國近年來在航天和經濟方面都有很大的進步，在中秋節那天，“天宮二號”發射成功，讓中國航天進入了一個新的階段。剛剛在杭州結束的G20峰會，讓世界經濟也進入了一個新的階段。
我們的祖國雖然有這么多讓人值得自豪的地方，但也有一頁讓人無法抹掉的黑暗歷史。在南京地下躺著的三十萬同胞們就足以說明這一事實，長達六周的南京大屠殺，殘忍的日本人殺害了我們的三十萬同胞……
為了讓祖國變得更加強大，為了讓別的國家不再侵略我們的祖國，我們一定要好好讀書將來成為建設祖國的棟樑！

時間曾凝聚在1949年10月1日，當巍峨的華表披上清晨的第一縷曙光，當雄偉的天安門迎來新一輪的太陽，當無數先烈用鮮血染紅的五星紅旗在天安門廣場冉冉升起，偉大的領袖毛主席洪亮的聲音傳遍了全世界：中華人民共和國中內人民政府成立了!這一時刻，對於一個飽經憂患，盡受欺凌的民族來說是多么寶貴啊!中國，一個響亮的名字;一個讓世界震撼的名字;一個讓無數華夏兒女為之驕傲與自豪的名字從此誕生了。這一激動人心的日子到來時，億萬炎黃子孫歡呼雀躍。沉睡了千百年的土地造就了我們民族至高的美和至高的愛。她如同一位德高望重，雍容華貴的貴婦人：連綿起伏的長城是她華麗的項鍊;莽莽林海的大興安嶺是她俊俏的彩衣;老子孔子讓她聞名暇爾;絲綢瓷器令她光彩照人;大禹治水，安天下，三過家門而不入是為了她;人民解放軍浴血奮戰，拋頭顱，撒熱血是為了她;無數的科學家，文學家，豪不保留地獻出自己的智慧是為了她!
