——廣州歷史悠久，商貿發達。廣州是一座有著2220多年悠久歷史的文化名城，是中國古代“海上絲綢之路”的始發港， 1000多年前已進入世界重要港口行列。舉世聞名的中國第一展—“中國進出口商品交易會”(“廣交會”)就在廣州舉行，目前已成功舉辦109屆。去年被《福布斯》評為“XX年中國大陸最佳商業城市”。目前，廣州正致力於拓展國際商貿合作，加快推進國際商貿中心建設。
---guangzhou boasts long history and sophisticated business and trade. guangzhou is a famous historical and cultural city with over 2,220 years of history. it was the first port of departure of the ancient “maritime silk road” of china. as early as more than 1,000 years ago, guangzhou had become one of the most important ports in the world. the “china import and export fair” (“canton fair”), which is world-famous and deemed as the “no.1 fair in china”, is held in guangzhou. up to now, 109 sessions of china import and export fair have been successfully conducted. last year, guangzhou was named by forbes china magazine as china’s best city for business. at present, guangzhou is devoted to expanding international business and trade cooperation and speeding up the construction of the city as a center for international business and trade.
——廣州區位優越，交通便利。廣州是中國經濟最發達地區之一廣東省的省會，是中國五大國家中心城市之一，中國的“南大門”，處於珠江三角洲中心位置，毗鄰香港澳門，靠近東南亞，航空距離北京、上海、新加坡2--3小時，距離台北1小時，距離東京、杜拜、悉尼4-—5小時，位於這些金融中心、轉口貿易港的幾何中心。廣州白雲國際機場、廣州港、廣州火車南站等現代化交通樞紐構成了強大的海陸空交通網路。XX年，廣州機場旅客吞吐量突破4000萬人次，躋身世界空港前15名;廣州港貨物和貨櫃吞吐量分別突破4億噸和1200萬標箱，分別居世界港口第5位和第7位。
