大年初七，又叫做“人節”，是所有人類的生日，北方流行吃麵條。因為傳說女媧初創世，在造出了雞狗豬羊牛馬等動物後，於第七天造出了人。在東南亞的華人聚居區，這一天要撈魚生，以示步步高升發大財。
