一、概述
按要求改寫句子主要考查學生對句子結構的掌握以及用不同句型表達同一意思的能力。考查所涉及到的句子類型有一般疑問句、否定句、反意疑問句、選擇疑問句、對劃線部分提問、感嘆句、保持原句意思、合併成一句、簡單句和複合句之間的互換以及改為被動語態等。
二、解題時需注意的幾個要點
1、時態：不同的時態相對應的助動詞
一般現在時：謂語動詞用原形（主語為第三人稱單數時，動詞加s或es，變否定句、疑問句時助動詞為do或does）
一般過去時：謂語動詞用過去式，變否定句、疑問句時助動詞為did.
現在完成時：助動詞have/has+動詞的過去分詞
過去完成時：助動詞had+動詞的過去分詞
一般將來時：will/begoingto+動詞原形
過去將來時：would/wasorweregoingto+動詞原形
現在進行時：am/is/are＋動詞的現在分詞
過去進行時：was/were＋動詞的現在分詞
2、語態：主動語態變為被動語態的謂語結構
一般現在時：am/is/are＋動詞的過去分詞
一般過去時：was/were+動詞的過去分詞
一般將來時：willbe+動詞的過去分詞
情態動詞：can/may/must/need等情態動詞＋be++動詞的過去分詞
3、改反意疑問句時注意hardly,never,seldom,few,little,no等詞表達的是否定意義，變反意疑問句時用肯定形式。
4、在合併句子時，有些連詞如notonly…butalso…,neither…nor…,either…or…是就近原則，連線兩個主語時動詞形式取決於與動詞鄰近的主語。而both…and…連線兩個主語時,主語是複數。
5、簡單句和複合句之間的互換常見的有：
帶有疑問詞的賓語從句改為特殊疑問詞＋to＋動詞原形的不定式；結果狀語從句so…that…改為enoughto或too…to…的簡單句。
6、保持原句意思改寫句子時注意時態不變。
