1、 連讀
1) 相同輔音的連讀
bad dog注意：不可以把音節給吞掉，只是這個音節不發音
like candy

the report turned out to be totally false.這份報告完全是一派胡言。
2) 輔音+元音
it’s easy. where’s our car? come on in. what time is it now?

註：元音i後面再跟一個元音，兩個元音間要加入一個“耶”的音

2、失爆(吞讀)
兩個爆破音連線在一起時出現失爆(吞讀)
什麼是爆破音：p, b, k, g, t, d
六個爆破音任何一個後面緊接著另一個爆破音或摩擦音或鼻音時，前一個爆破音將失去爆破。

3、縮讀

縮讀的原則：
1、 絕對不會是重點音節，不可以重讀
2、 只能出現在非正式場合

could have—could’a : you could’a hurt yourself. (should ,would same)
