The National Anthem, Our Heart and Spirit

this is our national anthem. it dates back to 1935. the song was born with combination of the poet tian han’s lyrics and the famous composer nie er. as chinese, i ensure that we are all proud of it. it represents national feelings. it is so inspiring because it encouraged one generation to fight for our nation’s liberation. it will also lead countless chinese people to brave the peril that lay ahead.

we have experienced war and invasion by other nation. yet, even after hardship and ruins, there our nation still stands, unyielding and unconquerable.

the song proves that, we, the chinese people, will not lose our spirit, nor we lose our culture. we have such a long-standing history and brilliant civilization; we have enough to be proud of. the chinese people’s willingness to sacrifice themselves for the nation’s liberation shows an unconquerable spirit. china’s admirable tradition of courage, resolution, and unity sill only grow stronger with time.

we are chinese. we are the younger generation who will be host or hostess in the future. so we can let people all around the world know and learn about china through the song. music has no nationality. it spreads everywhere. no matter the sky or the ocean, north or south, or in space, people will always hear an exciting, powerful rhythm, declaring millions of chinese to be united, chinese people will march on, march on.
