1.Bolt from the blue

——晴天霹靂

釋義:形容事情發生突然,讓人驚訝和措手不及

例句:

The chairman was only elected a year ago, his resignation came as a bolt from the blue.

主席是一年前才當選的,他的辭職讓大家感到突然和震驚。

2.To have a face like thunder

——火冒三丈

釋義:形容一個人非常生氣,達到怒不可遏的程度。

例句:

I couldn't believe my eyes, he had a face like thunder when he came out of the manager's office this morning.

釋義:形容非常罕見。
