如馨是怎樣學英語的
如馨正式學英語是在兩年前，確切地說是從XX年3月。當時如馨同媽媽一起去英國看爸爸，這就意味著如馨不得不學英語。當時連26個母都背不下來的她，開始時有些牴觸情緒。她就讀於一所很不錯的國小，上四年級(year four)。那裡的同學和老師對她都很熱情和友好，這增強了她的自信心。媽媽給如馨指定了一套系統的學習計畫。在第一個月里，如馨掌握了基本的課堂用語和生活用語，並且還掌握了200多個單詞。這些單詞是按內容進行歸類，這樣比較容易記。每天放學回家還要看一些卡通片。一開始看不懂，她就會根據片中人物表情和手勢去猜。
一個月過後，如馨加大了閱讀量。在學校里老師要求她每周讀一本簡單的故事書，而如馨卻要讀10本有時甚至更多同等程度的故事書。大量的閱讀既增加了她的辭彙量同時也增強了她的學習英語的自信心。在短短的四個月的時間裡，她讀完了oxford reading tree 系列讀物的國小三年級的全部書籍。由於如馨學習刻苦努力以及在語言方面所取得的進步，學校多次給她頒發證書，比如， “outstanding effort in english”, “working really hard on reading”, “being very quick at maths” 等等。在英國一年的學習中，如馨閱讀了150本兒童讀物並寫了幾十篇讀書筆記。
回國以後，如馨每天堅持讀英文小說和看電視英語節目， 如中央十套的《希望英語雜誌》和中央九套的新聞節目。與此同時，爸爸每周都買來一些英文原版的優秀影片，全家人一起欣賞。這既鍛鍊了聽力同時也鞏固了英語語言基礎。這次如馨在比賽中聽力方面表現很優秀是與她平時經常聽，經常看分不開的。
本屆希望英語風采大賽豐富了她的人生，使她受到了一次磨礪，提高了她的心理素質，培養了她的合作意識和競爭意識。但是，這只是一個開始，以後的路會更長，更艱難，希望她會勇敢地去面對。

my sweet home
hi, everyone, my name is jia ruxin. i am from shijiazhuang and in grade 5. today my topic is “ my sweet home”.
there is an old saying “east and west, home is best.” so, we can see how important home is to everybody. i’ve got a sweet home because it is cozy. my family lives in a flat. the sitting room is the biggest and my room is the smallest, but it is a world of my own. the wall is white, the curtain is pretty, the bed is comfortable and the bookshelf is filled with different kinds of books. in the right hand corner is the zheng, a traditional chinese musical instrument, and on the table is the computer. when i feel tired, i can play computer games; and when i feel depressed, playing the zheng can cheer me up. this is my sweet home, where i can find peace and comfort.
i’ve got a sweet home because it is full of love. my dad loves me. he is kind and patient. it is my dad who watches outlook english magazine with me; it is also my dad who is ready to answer my questions. my mom loves me, too. she is considerate and hardworking. every day when i go home from school, the rooms are always clean and tidy. every time when i play out and forget dinnertime, it is also my mom who calls me back with her tender voice, “come home, my little darling, dinner is ready”.

大家好！我叫賈如馨。我來自石家莊，是五年級的學生。今天我演講的題目是：我甜美的家。
俗話說：“東好西好不如家好。”從這句話我們可以體會到家對每一個人是多么的重要。我有一個甜美的家，因為我的家既舒適又安逸。我們住的是單元樓房。客廳是最大的一間。我的房間是最小的，但這裡是我自己的天地：潔白的牆壁，精美的窗簾，溫暖舒服的床和裝滿各種書籍的書架；在屋子的右手方向放著古箏，一種傳統的中國樂器；在桌子上則有一台電腦。當我感到疲勞的時候，可以玩一會兒電腦；而彈奏古箏可以使我擺脫消沉。這就是我甜美的家，在這裡我可以找到寧靜和舒適。
我有一個甜美的家，因為它充滿了愛。爸爸疼愛我。他既和藹又有耐心。陪我一起看希望英語雜誌的是我的爸爸，隨時回答我提出的各種問題的也是我的爸爸。我的媽媽也愛我。她不僅考慮周到而且不辭辛勞。每天當我放學回到家裡，房間總是既乾淨又整齊。每當我在外玩耍而忘記吃晚飯時間時，也是我的母親用她那溫柔的聲音叫我：“寶貝兒，晚飯已經好了，快回家吃飯吧！”
這就是我的家，我甜美的家。
四、賽後感想
中央電視台第四屆“希望之星”英語風采大賽結束了，但我的心情卻久久不能平靜。比賽中所有的參賽選手都一展才華，顯示出很強的英語水平。雖然我獲得了國小組的冠軍，但是我還有很多不足之處需要彌補。
通過這次比賽我收穫了很多。它豐富了我的人生經歷。它使我結識了許多來自全國各地的小朋友。它給了我一次很好的學習機會。它讓我大開了眼界，增長了見識。最重要的一點，它讓我的自信心和心理素質得到了很大的提高。得到了冠軍並不是我一人的功勞，它包含著許多人的汗水。我和爸爸媽媽付出了，為了這次比賽我們準備了很多。在中央電視台的工作的叔叔阿姨們也付出了許多，是他們在幕後籌備著一切，是他們一直鼓勵著我們，他們才是真正的幕後英雄，他們才是最可愛的人！
我要把這比賽的經歷作為一個起點，繼續努力！

i like wild animals. tiger, elephant, panda, polar bear, koala and dolphin! they are so lovely! there are so many animals live in the wild! i like them！but many wild animals are facing the danger of extinction. for example, with the development of cities, their living areas have become narrower and narrower. many of the wild animals, now are confronted with food crisis. at the same time, man is killing them just for getting their fur, skin, teeth and meat.
protect them, protect our resources of ecology too. all of us should realize that the loss of any species is the loss of ourself. killing wild animals certain is prohibited. we should say “no！”to leather clothing. we should say “no!” to eat them. we should set up many national parks as wild life. let them live there, happy and safe.

what is music, no one can explain.
just imagine for a moment that you are sitting in a magnificent concert hall. the conductor waves his shiny baton with a graceful swing through the air. a beautiful melody floats slowly around you
you sit quietly with your eyes shut, your heart open. the delicate vibratos of the violins carry you to a mood of heavenly bliss. an airy solo of the flute draws you to the imagination, the notes flow like some jumping swallows dancing and singing calling for the coming of spring.
i like music from my childhood. my father often says when i was a baby i would never go to sleep without soft, beautiful lullabies crooning around my ears . now music is a part of my life. when i feel tired, disappointed or in low spirits, i usually turn to music. music, nothing but only music can have so wonderful an effect on my heart, on my pond of feeling.
music comes with us. where there is life, there is music. where there is music, there is hope. it lies in everyday life, in everyone’s life, in everything we see, in everything we hear-- in the rhythm of the sea, in the whisper of a gentle wind, in the melody of a bird’s singing, in the harmony of village chimes. you can hear music wherever you may go . a man who doesn’t know music will lose half the world. a nation that pays little or no attention to music will be a sad nation. a world without music would be the one for the dead and devils.
so dear friends, let’s open our arms to embrace music and enjoy it throughout our lives. love music and love life.
