一、 世界環境保護日的來歷 1972年聯合國在瑞典的斯德哥爾摩召開了有113個國家參加的聯合國人類環境會議。會議討論了保護全球環境的行動計畫，通過了《人類環境宣言》。會議建議聯合國大會將這次會議開幕的6月5日定為“世界環境保護日”。同年10月聯合國大會第27屆會議接受並通過了這一建議。每年的6月5日，世界各國都開展民眾性的環境保護宣傳紀念活動，以喚起全世界人民都來注意保護人類賴以生存的環境，自覺採取行動參與環境保護的共同努力，同時要求各國政府和聯合國系統為推進環境保護進程作出貢獻。
