本課時教材是在學習了形容詞的比較級以後，為了提高學生對比較級的閱讀能力而設計的，可以說有些句型對於前兩個課時是一個階梯式的提高。

說目標

1.教學目標

根據教材的內容和《英語課程標準》要求，我確定了以下教學目標。

知識目標：能夠聽、說、認讀Let's read中的三會單詞和句型並完成填充句子的練習;特別要能看懂、會朗讀句子：I think the little monkey is only 40 cm tall.。The monkey is shorter but you are funnier.能夠完成Pair work部分的繪圖並描述朋友的活動。

能力目標：學會用形容詞的比較級來談論自己朋友及其他人或事物，如I'm taller than you,but you are stronger than me.學會用英文的長度單位來描述人、物的身高和長度，並能根據所給數據，對兩種事物進行比較。

情感目標：培養學生在觀察和測量中使用英語的習慣，引導學生關注自己身邊的人、事物及自然界中與我們共同生活的其他生命，在閱讀中培養學生的團結合作意識。

2.教學重難點

本課時的教學重點是使學生能夠充分理解、正確朗讀對話;教學難點是學生能看懂、會朗讀句子：I think the little monkey is only 40cm tall. The monkey is shorter but you are funnier.

時光荏苒，轉眼一個學期已經過去，回顧教學工作，有令人欣慰的收穫，又有困饒自己教學的不足：由於教學內容的難度太大，導致學生的學習興趣受阻，班級中學生的兩極分化出現。本學期我擔任四年級的英語教學工作，在教學中我嚴格遵從教學的五個環節，課前認真備課，做到既備教材，又備學生，因材施教，努力實施課堂改革，積極探索國小英語快樂課堂，國小階段英語教學的目的是：激發學生學習英語的興趣，培養學生學習英語的積極性，使他們樹立學習英語的自信心，同時培養學生一定的語感和良好的語音、語調基礎，為進一步學習打下基礎。在英語課堂教學中，怎樣創設良好的學習氛圍、激發學生的興趣是搞好國小英語教學的重要一環。我的教學反思如下：

一、認真備課、面向全體授課

在教學中，認真備課，認真閱讀各種教科參考書，結合自己的教學經驗與學生的學習情況，認真編寫好教案制定好教學計畫，並不斷地加以改善修改，在傳授學生知識的同時，關心愛護學生，特別是差生，課堂密切注意他們，教育他們求學勿半途而廢，在思想教育的同時，還耐心地輔導學生複習遺漏知識。使他們的學習成績跟上班裡的其他同學。幫助他們樹立學好各門知識的信心。

二、在課堂教學中

第一、在課堂上，認真授課，運用實物教具、簡筆畫，情景教學、手勢語言等方法來啟發、教育學生。教學生做遊戲、唱英語歌等來激發學生的學習興趣。鼓勵學生大膽質疑，注重以學生為主體、教師為導的教學方法，充分調動學生的學習積極性。學生有疑難和不懂讀的地方，我總是不厭其煩地講解、分析、帶讀，力爭讓他們學了就懂，懂了會用。

(一)複習引題

1、教師和學生聊一聊每個人喜愛的蔬菜。(I like…Do you like…?)

2、教師說謎語，引導學生用Are they…?來猜猜是什麼蔬菜。

a、They are red. They look like apples, but they aren’t apples. What are they?

b、They are tender and green. What are they?

c、They are long and orange. Rabbits like eating them. What are they?

學生猜對了，教師回答Yes，they are.並拿出相應的單詞卡片請學生拼讀;? 如果猜錯了，教師回答No, they aren’t. 再請其他人猜, 直到猜對為止。

(二)教學新課

1、教師請學生將裝有蔬菜卡片的盒子蓋好放在桌子上，然後走到同學們中間，隨意指著幾個盒子問：Are these…?，並引導學生根據實際用Yes, they are. / No, they aren’t.回答。如果學生回答的是No, they aren’t. 教師要繼續問：What are these?並引導學生用They are …回答。(教師在操作時應多問幾名學生，以增加語言的輸入量。)教師適時板書句型框架。
